Shine On

My outfit Friday night to our kids' school Gala….

I have worn this dress many times and it is just one of those great dresses that look good whether it is day time or evening event. It is a bit sexy without going overboard and best of all it is very comfy to wear. And does not show wrinkles. A keeper for sure.

Tonight I accessorized it with booties and a leather and tulle jacket like I had for my sister's rehearsal dinner but added the pearl choker necklace which got a lot of attention…

With some of the mom's from the kindergarten class… We didn't take many photos as we were busy enjoying ourselves…. I did take a photo of my son's two teachers together but I think it was on one of their phones...

My outfit Monday was inspired by a look from Forever 21:

I wasn't going with the cropped top and my slip on sneakers were solid black so I added glen plaid  top to break it up and add some pattern...

MONDAY:
Well, the kids had their last baseball game of the season. They were #1 team (with only 1 loss) and played against the #2 team (2 losses).
It was such an exciting game. Amazingly close score. At the end the other team could have won as all they needed to score was 3 runs. We thought we lost for sure. Bur amazingly our first baseman caught 2 balls in a row causing 2 outs. They scored 1 run then he caught the 3rd ball when they had a runner on 3rd base! It was incredible. Needless to say the little player got the game ball.
The score was a tie but since we had the better record we still ended as #1 team.
Now the play offs will start….
I am not even a fan of the sport and I barely understand the game but let me tell you it is just sheer excitement watching your kids play especially when they care and love the game so much.
And my little man is ALL HEART when it comes to every sport he plays.  They just have a blast out there…

SUNDAY:
Took my daughter to one of her best friend's birthday party at a ceramic cafe where they painted little statues. Most kids picked the little ducklings to paint.
My son went to an All Star baseball tryout practice where the coaches watched and evaluated the players to decide who they want to recruit for the all star team. He is nominated but we won't know if he actually makes it…

She added pink chalk to the ends of her blonde hair all her idea…. Looked so cool. I want do it one day too...
