I pinned my hair in the back to make it look like I had longer hair that was pulled in a bun!

SATURDAY:
My daughter claimed a bruised knee and convinced us she couldn't go to her soccer game so we hung out at home until it was time to go to my son's soccer game in the early afternoon.
My hubby left for his tennis tournament after that and I took the kids for an early dinner at a sushi restaurant after much convincing my daughter they would have some sort of chicken nugget like meal…. Most of the convincing was done by my son who was dying for sushi….

FRIDAY:
After a busy day of grocery shopping, preparing the house and gifts and baking a cake for my hubby's and sister's birthdays I picked up the kids from school and went to swim practice. Then back at home for a quick shower and change for both we met the family at Joe's Crab Shack. My daughter had asked for curly hair so the night before I sprayed gel and put her hair in this spiral curlers we got at the bazaar in Turkey. She knew from the time time we tried there that if you don't leave them on for a very long time the curls do not stick. So even though it wasn't very comfortable being a total woman to be she is she slept with them on. And sure enough she had perfect spirals in her golden blonde hair the next morning. We sprayed a bit more hairspray and they were still good at night….

My hubby got stuck at work so he couldn't join the dinner but he was at home for the cake and gift celebration….

Black forest cake for my sis and homemade choclate cake for Daddy….
