I spent the entire day trying to recover from Saturday night. With very little success but managed to become presentable for the family dinner to celebrate my brother in-law's birthday with his parents in town…

WEDNESDAY:
My cousin and I were alone with our kids today with no car while everyone else was still in the city.
We took them for an early swim at a different beach (walking distance) then hung around home.
Once my parents got home the ladies left for a play and my step dad wanted to stay home with the kids and watch a video so my cousin and I took the car to go to the old outdoor movie theater in the summer town. Compared to city's luxurious theaters this one uses wooden and plastic chairs and has a small screen. But it brings back so many memories of going there as a whole family with my grandpa.
We ate pop corn and sunflower seeds and watched Planet of the Apes….

 It is Monday and why not face it with some attitude?

My inspiration was from an article that showed how you can wear 'denim on denim' at all hours of the day. 

I am usually known for my unusual outfits and majority of the time people just expect that and rarely comment. But today's outfit with the oxfords and the shorts definitely drew out some comments from the other parents at preschool... :)

This bow pin I swear makes any outfit cool when you add it. Just love this Asos purchase.

 The sequin moto jacket was also a great buy cause every time I wear it catches attention...

It definitely takes guts to wear these puppies but I love them...

MONDAY:
Had a nice day at pre school then fit in a big and much needed grocery shopping before coming home.
In the afternoon tried to catch up with laundry and chores and my friend came over to cook a nice Asian dinner. My son was in heaven tasting pork dumplings and bok choy with oyster sauce and noodles with cabbage and listening to my friend explain how the sauces add flavor. My daughter stuck with the chicken wings and stayed far far away from the other food just like her daddy. The two of them ate a separately cooked alfredo pasta!
We then got caught up on some of the shows we missed last week during our cable fiasco...
