Game Changers

This was inspired by Bee from Atlantic Pacific's collaboration with Bauble Bar photos.
She actually has a new collaboration that is pretty cool…. See it here….

I decided to go with a grey toned animal print for the jacket and heels instead of her brown tones...

I swear the white slip I wore under the skirt did not show like this. With the flash at night it looks weird and awful but in real life it was just subtle. I had to wear something cause the dress is completely sheer.
The cut was challenging for this outfit. I couldn't make it work the way I wanted to and did not have time to fuss with it more...

LAST NIGHT:
Went to a Riviera event promoting the new black berry. Thanks to my friend who happens to be on the mailing list of all these events. At the pool lounge of a downtown boutique hotel it was a cool ambiance. Two free signature cocktails and salmon and steak plates and a dessert buffet. Not bad since all of this was free.
I took my cousin and met my friend and her sister there. Unfortunately none of us won a new phone, just these cheap sunglasses!

Going Urban

Today's outfit for our very adventurous urban play date...

The inspiration came from last year's In Style June 2011 issue:
I decided to go with pants instead of shorts...

When I got out of the car the whole group was already in the parking lot waiting and I was about to ask if anyone was taking strollers when they all started commenting on my hair. I had forgotten already my hair had changed and this was the first time they were seeing it!

Jacket - Forever 21
Tee - from Turkey
Pants - Bebe
Scarf - TJ Maxx
Sandals - Charles David
Clutch - Arden B
Watch - Michael Kors
Ring - hand made by my aunt

TODAY:
Mommy Summer Camp had a very fun trip on the dock today. We met at a local mall's trolley stop then took the San Diego Trolley to downtown and walked to the baseball field's playground. The kids who had never been on a Trolley before loved that portion. We had a small glitch when we got the field as they wouldn't let us in even though we had checked to make sure they were open. One of the mommies was determined and put up a great case and had them open it up for us. After some vigorous play we took the kids to a burger place which of course given that it is downtown was not quite for kids. Poor customers took pity on us and vacated a booth so we didn't have to sit at the high tables. After lunch we took the trolley back. 17 kids 8 adults we were quiet a group!
