Think pink...and orange

Today's outfit inspired by another Sept 2012 J Crew catalog photo:
I pretty much cut 50% off J Crew catalogs for inspiration. I really love their style and they have a neck for putting together very unexpected color combinations.  Like this blush-magenta-orange combo!

If you notice I usually convert their dressy pieces to more casual ones to fit my lifestyle. The magenta jeans vs the satin cafe pants and the cardi vs. blazer for example.

Yeay, finally wearing this super duper chunky necklace I bought at Ann Taylor Loft. Love it!

T-Neck - J Crew
Cardigan - Gap
Jeans - Forever 21
Belt - Ralph Lauren
Necklace - loft
Wedges - Gotax

FRIDAY:
Skipped my daughter's class today so we could make it to my son's thanksgiving skit in his class on time. My parents came with. They had a real cute skit put together with costumes made out of paper bags which they colored themselves.
Then all the kindergarten classes shared a thanksgiving feast together in the playground.
In the afternoon I had another photo shoot for my 'who is wearing Kika?' monday posts and my husband brought take out for dinner. :)

 Princess was ready!
 We like making funny faces!

Feast afterwards....

Precious jewels

Today's bright combo was inspired by a photo in Recession is The New Blonde blog:
This combo immediately made me remember this mustard corduroy mini skirt I had bought from anthropologie on sale 2 years ago during our couple's Vegas trip!

Turtleneck Sweater - Gap
Skirt - Anthropologie
Tights, Necklace - Forever 21
Belt - Betsey Johnson
Booties - Gabriella Rocha

TODAY:
Stayed home this morning so I can catch-up on some house projects like cleaning out the kids closets and packing up clothes that are too small, going through the extra clothes in my car and updating them and laundry and putting away valentine's day decorations and getting ready for tomorrow's show.
My mom came over during kids' nap so we can temporarily hem up the pants I am selling with double sided tape as they are made for a 6 feet women and look silly long on normal people.
When the kids woke-up I took them to a friend's baby shower.
