New Year. New You.

My outfit to start 2016 as we headed to Temecula for a weekend getaway…

Inspired by this more grungy version from Forever 21:

Cardigan - TJ Maxx
Top - Target
Pants - Rock Republic
Beanie - Forever 21
Boots - Steve Madden

SATURDAY:
We left our friend's house from the big New Year's Eve sleepover and came home to unpack and t hen pack again. My parents came over to take on the kids and left that afternoon for a big adult getaway for some wine tasting and relaxing and celebrating our friend's big mile stone birthday…
Only half the group made the trip Saturday night though but it was fun exploring this massively grand house they rented and having dinner and playing games.

The sunset was breathtaking that night...

Sneaking to Sunset

Today's outfit was inspired by this photo in April 2011 issue of People Style Watch:

I am drawn to these simple all white combo's with a slight touch of blue... These short combinations I have been wearing lately are all simple with a touch of interest but most of all very practical. :)

Jacket - Marshall's
Tee & Shorts - Target
Necklace, Oxfords - Forever 21

TODAY:
Started our morning early with a slew of errands from going to the bank to oil change to school then to carwash! My parents took the kids afterwards and I tried to catch up on some much needed sleep and rest.

NIGHT OUTFIT:

The inspiration for this from this very old photo I had saved at least 3 years old!
I have liked this bohemian style that I turned the Kika 'Addison' dress bohemian with a aztec print scarf and wooden beaded necklaces from Turkey... Green/blue silk sandals added to the color burst...

Dress - 'Addison' in poppy red by Kika Paprika
Scarf - Forever 21
Necklaces - From Turkey
Sandals - Seychelles from Anthropologie

My hubby came home early so we can have a mini dinner date while my parents had the kids. It was great to get out and have dinner watching the ocean then the sunset...
