WEDNESDAY:
AFter a whirlwind of a day met up with the girls at a dumpling restaurant that was quite popular. It was nice to catch up as our schedules are crazy and we couldn't even pin down another date to get together again… That is what happens when two of us have kids who play in multiple sports and another two travel all the time for work.

Out of this Planet

Saturday's inspiration from an older issue of People Style watch (March 2013):

This old tailored vest is getting so much use lately. Loved this combo paired with a simple white tee, denim leggings and metallic oxfords.

Necklace - H&M
Bracelet - Bauble bar

SATURDAY:
After back to back soccer games saturday morning and going out to early lunch with family we hardly had any time to get ready and leave for my daughter's ballet class followed by my friend's son's 5th birthday party…
The party was so much fun although my son literally had a melt down because we went an hour late and he thought the party would be over. With so many activities that was the best I could do and of course the party was not over but the entire drive there he was crying and freaking out.
Lovely….

Cool and Collected

Wednesday's outfit. The weather is still quite warm so the vest had to be ditched by 9 AM but regardless…

The inspiration is from August 2014 issue of Lucky Magazine:

Have a lot of combos for these thrifted striped pants lately… So comfy too….

See even without the vest, thanks to do choker necklace it looks unique….

WEDNESDAY:
The heat wave continues and so do the half day school days but today was always a half day so not much difference. Actually they didn't cancel our after school activities so the kids got out a bit later even. We had a combo playdate at our house with a new family that moved here from New Jersey. They too have a 2nd grader son and a Kinder (well transitional kindergarten) daughter. The girls are in the same class but the boys are not so they met for the first time. And being boys and loving playing ball they wasted no time warming up to each other. It was too hot so turned it into a playdate to cool everyone off. After they left went directly to the pool for my son's swim team practice followed immediately by my son's soccer team practice and I was the driver so had to stay the whole time but my hubby came to pick up daughter so at least she can eat and shower before it was too late. The coach had 'back to school night' for his own kids so ended moderately early by 6:45 so we got home but still late bedtime… How does my son not get tired I have no idea. If I can bottle up his stamina and energy and sell it would make millions. :)

Wake me up when it's over

Yesterday's inspiration was form the 'spring' H&M catalog:
I liked these colors but since I don't have a puffer vest in that khaki color I was going to wear my cropped khaki vest then saw this vest I had totally forgotten hanging in my vest section and it was perfect…. Gave it a soft fluid look and the cocoa color was great against crisp white jeans...

I love this new combo of delicate gold bangles the cuff has my initial and the other one is my sign (Leo). I love it… Both from C Wonder...

Blouse - Gap
Jeans - Zara
Vest - Forever 21
Booties - Betsey Johnson
Bracelets - C Wonder

MONDAY:
Ah the time change is killing me! Even though I went to bed so early I just can't get up that early.
But we managed to get out the door and make it to school. Then to the indoor play area then picking up my son then to home for homework and back to swim practice and back to the house. Very tiring and it was just a regular day…
ALSO, I started T-25 fitness program! This is the same guy that created insanity but the workouts are only 25 minutes and 5 times a week. Much more realistic than the original. I am doing the nutrition plan too which I had done before and loved it. I just couldn't keep up with it when I had no major deadline or target event.
This time I am using our upcoming couples Vegas trip as a goal. Plus it will be good for summer to get back in shape and tone a bit.
We'll see how it goes though. I have a couple weekend events that I plan to step out of the plan so might not be as effective.
And my husband decided to join me in the work outs so like last time we work out after the kids go to bed at night!
The first workout kicked my butt and I realized how out of shape I am. THe good thing is when you work out everyday your body doesn't have time to get sore. :)
