Sweet Sorbet

Just a quick post on my outfit yesterday. Not much interesting and surely not my favorite but here it is...
The inspiration was from the Anhropologie Magazine:
My skirt is not maxi which is why I think the outfit does not look as cool but the color scheme yellow and pink with touches of coral and blue were cool...

Yellow Tee - 'Beth' in citrus from Kika Paprika
Skirt - Victoria's Secret
Necklaces - from Turkey and Forever 21
Flip flops - Ann Taylor

COMIC CON Is here....
I will be heading there this afternoon to volunteer from 2 to 5 so I can get a free ticket for tomorrow. We also get to attend the preview party tonight for free since we volunteered last year.
My friend and I know nothing about comics, nor do we follow any sci fi shows besides true blood and vampire diaries or play any video games but we just love going there and people watching and just being in the middle of something that is obviously in tremendous demand. And we get to do it all for Free so it doesn't cost us anything.
Since tonight is a short event I will wear something more fun but tomorrow's outfit is going to have to be comfortable and practical. We plan to get in line by 5:30 AM to see the panel for twilight. It is crazy I know but figured why not try it will be an adventure.
My mom is going to have the kids and they have big plans of camping out in their backyard! :)

Let's Make Waves!

 Yesterday's casual outfit.

The inspiration was from the April 2012 issue of People Style Watch magazine:

I realized actually I do not have a casual black maxi skirt. The skirt i have is a banana republic and more of a winter dry clean material. I decided to do the photo shoot with these chiffon flared pants but in reality I had to swap the mini full skirt (see way below)...

Here is the converted outfit (we were going to the waterpark so I also had to change the flatforms for flip flops):

Scarf - Forever 21
Top - Banana Republic
Chiffon Pants - Asos
Flatforms - Vera Wang for Kohl's
Purse - Chloe

MONDAY:
My friend and I met up in the morning at Legoland to do their water-park instead of hosting a pool playdate at our house. IT was so much nicer than the last trip as this was a weekday and most tourists that visit legoland come for the main park and not the waterpark area. We were very laid back allowing the kids to set the agenda as to where we went and had a ver nice time.
The lazy river was fun trying to hold on to 4 kids just the two of us but we managed.
The time just escaped from us without a watch and we didn't leave the park until 4 PM!
Then I dropped off the kids at my mom's and picked up my cousin and we came home so I could shower and change we met up with my best friend and had sushi in Pacific Beach and walked around.

Below is the lazy river adventure where we had to hold on so the photographer can get us all together...

Sunshine Girl

Today's 70's vibe combo was inspired by a 'White House/Black Market' ad in a Magazine:

Pretty easy to put together with the items in my closet and perfect for a house b-Day party today!

My cute two headed frog bracelet was the perfect single accessory to add in addition to the thin golden hoop earrings...

Hat, Bracelet - Forever 21
Blouse - Thrifted from My Sister's Closet
Shorts - H&M
Wedges - Victoria's Secret

TODAY:
Went to a very nice b-day party at our friend's house this morning. The couple is from Brazil so they had Brazilian BBQ catered and it was yummy and so healthy. I should have done some photos of the food but at kid b-day parties I forget that kind of stuff.
After the party and kids had quiet time we had a family swim again followed by a quiet dinner at home.
