Soak up the Sun

Today's combo was inspired by March 2012 issue of In Style Magazine:
It was simple but I liked the colorful sandals combined with the animal print shorts, simple black top and denim jacket...

Here is the tank without the jacket... Very comfy and has this delicate crochet straps and back detail....

Hat, Shorts - Forever 21
Denim Jacket - vintage
Tank - TJ Maxx

Necklace - Kate Young for Target
Bracelet - Bauble Bar

TODAY:
It is a shame yesterday I forgot to take my outfit photos cause we had a really fun day at the fair...
Today left the house by 9 AM to start our day with my son's cleaning appointment at the dentist followed by a stop at the post office then for story time to the library. We are totally utilizing our library this summer borrowing 10-15 books each week for the kids. They love having new books and they love the story time and the craft there.
We then went to Legoland! I know we are crazy... But my friend had free passes that were expiring this week so we didn't want to miss on the opportunity since we don't have passes anymore.
It was fun. The kids had fun in  the spray/water area for hours then we did couple rides and other outdoor play areas. It was exhausting nevertheless but lots of fun.

My brother and SIL got this X-wing lego set for my son for finishing Kindergarten. It was so cool to see the replica in this giant model that matched exactly the set we put together....

Steel Cut

Had a work party at my house and it was miraculously rainy and colder so I could wear a fall combo. I have been dying to pair this grey blouse with the wide legged pants. I could have added a black belt but kept it grey for a total monotone look. The fun hat was the only print...

 Cookie Lee accessories...
Isn't this button down blouse super cool and so soft and comfy with great details like ribbed sides and cuffs. And to think it needs no ironing and is machine washable!

This wide legged pants are so soft and fluid. With no zippers or buttons and elastic waist they are very comfy while they look dressy.

Blouse - Aiden in Steel by Kika Paprika
Pants - Wide Legged in Steel by Kika Paprika
Necklace & Bracelets - Cookie Lee
Belt - Q
Hat - Target

TODAY:
The work show at my house was with my pre-school mommy friends and it was a lot of fun as these ladies were totally into trying on all the clothes and having fun while doing so.
My hubby took the kids to lunch and movies while I had the show at the house then we all got changed and went to Legoland for 'Brick or Treat' and Fireworks.
Met up with our group of friends and my sister and her hubby joined us as well.
Fun night.
