Paint ball

Look how cute yesterday's outfit turned out inspired by a look at Shop Ruche website:

I actually like my pants version better, cause no way I can go bare legged. I am always so cold in the mornings and have to wear socks and boots and preferably cover my legs. So with this outfit it was good for all day and all night long and I never had to change. Plus it was super comfortable.

Got these from Shoedazzle's boot sale for such a ridiculous price. And they are cushiony inside and very comfortable...

MONDAY:
Going back to our regular schedule after a week of vacation is quite tough on all of us. My daughter woke up late and took forever to eat and get dressed. I was out of practice making lunches fast and getting ready at the same time but we managed to leave the house and get my son in time for his run club even but then had to stop back home so I can clean up the kitchen and quickly snap these photos then we were at her school and totally early.
Got the supplies to do her ballet bun after class. I am going to start practicing on Thursday. My daughter will be performing in the Nutcracker in 5 performances and we are suppose to this specific bun which wouldn't be a problem if she had her long hair before her butchering job. Lets see with lots of gel and a bun helper if I can make it happen.
After some job searching at the indoor play area we picked up my son and stopped at home then went to his swim team practice. Man it is getting darker earlier now. We got home and in a rush got them showered and fed and into bed early. My dad and his friend came over to do us a huge favor and stayed in our house while we went to the luxury theaters to meet our friends and celebrate her birthday and watch 'catching fire' together. Going to those theaters always makes me feel like a million bucks and I love the chili flavored pop corn. The movie was great!

You can only chase a butterfly for so long

Today's outfit for the last day of our trip was inspired by the 'Stylish Housewife' Blog:

She was inspired by someone else so I guess this is the 3rd interoperation of it! :)

SATURDAY:
We had leisurely breakfast than packed and went back to the beach with the kids to launch another rocket. The kids love watching it. Although it really stresses out my husband the fear of hitting someone. But we were quite out in the open so it was OK.
We then took the kids to a monarch butterfly preserve that was nearby. Very short hike and great butterfly viewing. Then it was back home for lunch and watching Grandpa ride the biplane.
Then it was a mad rush to pack everything especially the food then load up the car and get on the road. We left around 1 PM and I kid you not did not get back until 8 PM. We did stop for half hour at a playground for kids to get fresh air and then again for dinner but that was it. It was a very long and tiring ride. The kids must have watched 3 movies. They looked like zombies when we arrived home. Got them showered and in bed though relatively close to bed time so that was good.

Heading to a far away spot on the beach to launch the rocket...

Turkey Vulture!

My hubby with his nephew getting ready to light it up...

There it goes...

The kids go after the rocket that came down...

This bee was stuck on this butterfly's wing so she couldn't fly. My husband was able to flick off the bee and they both flew away in their own ways...

And finally my father-in-laws plane ride:

Porch Pounder

Today's outfit for wine tasting in San Louis Obispo's Edna Valley region was inspired by
a lookbook on Shopbop's website…

I loved this denim on denim in dark/grey tones with a statement fedora and booties look...

These coated jeans I swear have great quality and wear durability and yet they are from F21!

You like my little photo shoot spot at the vacation home we are staying at?
The family is not all that keen on my blogging and taking self photos so I sneak out this deck from the kids bedroom and snap the shots quietly.

Hat, Denim Shirt, Coated Jeans & Necklace - Forever 21
Belt - Target
Booties - Steve Madden

TODAY:
We all had breakfast and got the kids ready and the car situated for the grandparents to drive 4 children and left for a day of wine tasting with my husband's older sister and her husband. They hired a driver so it was great. And my sister in law had been here before and she likes to take charge anyway so we let her run the show and pick the wineries. It was a blissful day tasting a lot of Pinot Noirs and Chardonays which is what the region is known for.
