Sunny Side Up

Today's outfit was inspired by the February 2013 catalog of Nordstrom's...
Having the slightly warm weather allowed me to not be afraid to bear my legs as long as I can layer on top so these outfits are perfect….

Cardigan - Victoria's Secret
Blouse - Lucky
Skirt - Rock Republic
Oxfords,  Necklace - Forever 21

TODAY:
I am still jet lagged. I have to have to go to bed early tonight so I can get up without feeling like the whole world is coming down on me.  I met up with my friend to discuss plans for an upcoming baby shower we are co-hosting while which my parents showed up and said they could take my daughter early so I had a solid block of time which I dedicated to couple projects I needed to work on like the shower planning and sending out invites for my son's b-day etc… Then quickly showered and dressed to go to my son's class room to volunteer then stopped at the library to return books and he did part of his homework then we came home just for him to change and have a snack and my parents insisted they take the kids swimming so yet again I had a block of time which I spent cleaning up and paying the bills and filing.
I was all caught up when the kids came back and we had a peaceful night.
I am going to start another exercise program. I am such a sucker for these things but the whole step by step programs work for me. And all beach body programs have healthy nutrition plans with real food and simple recipes which appeal to me.
This time I will be doing the 'Brazilian Butt' workouts. The description states they have cardio and strength workouts so it should be good. And most are 30 minutes.
I read up all the material and will start tomorrow. Yeah! :)

Down on the Farm

Yesterday's outfit was inspired by September 2013 issue of People Style Watch:

I was wondering when such outfit could be worn as it involved cords, booties but topped with a tank top but my good friend's daughters' birthday party at a ranch was the perfect setting for such outfit…
I even added a cowboy hat but it was too windy there to keep it on…

Top, Pants, Scarf - Forever 21
Booties - Betsey Johnson
Purse - Steve Madden
Necklaces - From Turkey
Bracelets - Shop Ruche

And these were taken at the Ranch:

SATURDAY:
My daughter and I are still jet lagged. We are both going to bed late and waking up super late. My son is back on track and wakes up early with the hubby. He took them both to breakfast then they went to my son's classmate's birthday party while I finished cleaning up the house and unpacking etc… Then we met at the ranch for the other birthday party… They had gone all out it was straight out of a pinterest set-up with spray painted burlap garlands, chandelier and the most beautiful handmade cupcakes every… And the birthday girls wore gorgeous handmade tulle hi-low dresses…

Put this outfit together for her… And did a side braid…. It would have been cooler if her boots were brown or black but she has pink ones. I am surprised they still fit.

With one of the birthday girls….

And with the other birthday girl:

Gorgeous dresses….for gorgeous girls...

After this party my hubby went with the host family to their house for a swim with my son while I came home with my daughter and completely changed her outfit and hair and met up with my mom to go to a ballet performed by her school. She was supposed to dance in this play but due to our Hawaii vacation couldn't but at least got to watch it…

All good things must come to an end

Final outfit post from the Hawaii vacation was inspired by Anthropologie Magazine:

I didn't really have any sandals that matched the outfit so I borrowed these great sandals from my friend. Isn't great to be the same size?

Tank, Skirt - Forever 21
Necklaces - Cookie Lee
Sandals - Vince Camuto

Our Last days were Hawaii were a dream…. Time flies by fast when you have the best vacation…
Took this tour when the kids were at 'Aunty's House' it was so serene...

Using the template to discover mysteries around the resort. The kids loved getting clues and figuring out where to go next and the fact that weird things happened just blew their minds...

The resort had over 200 idols around the property. The kids had a blast spotting them as we were walking around… This is one of them...

The hubbies BBQ'd steaks one night…

This splash area was right by breakfast so one day we brought the kids down sunscreened and in swim suits so they can start the fun right after breakfast while we finished sipping our morning coffees….

Then hit the beach where the kids had hours of fun digging giant holes and playing in them...

This girl was interesting…Not sure what her deal was but sure got a lot of attention from people. Especially our girls...

Hit the Adult pool as soon as the kids were checked into their club by mid afternoon...

We ventured out the nearby Mariott resort for dinner our last night while the kids ate at Aunty's House
