 What I wore on Tuesday to Work....

Just loved how this all looked together... The tartan in the jacket and peep toe booties keep the classic pencil skirt/top/blazer outfit up to date and chic.

Double necklaces worked as well... and everything was very comfortable...

Flat Out Fierce

What I wore last Thursday... I had flat tall grey boots during the day and switched to these high heel booties for the night for meeting friends for happy hour...

My inspiration was couple photos from Cabi's last Fall Line:

This outfit might look dressy but all the pieces are cotton and quite comfortable and honest I was in this ensemble volunteering at kids' school in art class matting art work and helping kids...
And just changing the shoes allows me to take it to night with no outfit change which I never have time as I make a quick transition from a crazy kid sports activity to my sitter and run out the door.

These shoes get sooooo many compliments every time I wear them. From women and even men. They truly are beautiful and the chunky 2 inch heel is quite reasonable...

MONDAY - 1st Day Of School
Big day for the kids and me to finally get back to routine of them out of the house for a few hours so I can run errands do house project and work out....
They are getting so big now. My son is starting 4th grade and my daughter 2nd grade...

 What I wore to the big birthday party and Turkish night at my parents' house Saturday night...

Inspiration was from a very recent magazine about mixing leather with summer tops...

 I had these sandals for years but have hardly worn them... It was a perfect compliment to this outfit and the low wedges were perfect for a night of standing on grass and cobblestones...

SATURDAY:
AFter a crazy busy day of being solo with the kids, dropping off my car for repairs, breakfast on the beach, ubering home as the car was going to take a few hours, getting a ride back from my mom, ice skating, cooking, new neighbor pool party, coming back home and going to my parents' party....

The party was to celebrate my step dad's and our family friend's July birthdays and in honor of my grandpa we had a Turkish themed party where everyone tried the traditional 'Raki' drink and even had a belly dancer come and put on a show...
Of course all the Turkish girls had to get up and belly dance too as we grew up doing that within the family...

And one of our guests turned out to be a professional hula dancer so there was a lot of diverse dancing going on...
