Must be the money

Well, I have started working!
This is what I wore on last Thursday...

So there will be some dressier and more conservative output posts coming up in the next following weeks...

Fashion wise, it is exciting to get to dress professionally again at least for a little while...
I tend to still show a sense of fashion style in small doses while keeping it finance professional.

I also decided I would start very basic and simple and slowly break in funkier pieces to create a solid first impression...

So 1st day's inspiration was from H&M Catalog:

Has the look of a suit but these are not matching pieces.  The pants are moto leggings actually and the jacket is part of an old Tahari suit I had.
Layered it with a sleeves chiffon top that has cascading ruffle detail in front for point of interest....

 Jacket - Tahari
Top - Target
Pants - Nordstroms
Heels - J Crew
Earrings - Baublebar

Cocktails 101

Monday night's outfit to go to a Cocktail class with my best friend…

Inspired by this very old (June 2012) issue of People Style Watch:

It was one of those outfits that I kept meaning to wear but never did until now…
Can't argue the beauty of a simple white tee with a blazer and a denim mini…

Blazer - Part of a very very old Bebe Suit
Skirt - Vintage
Tee - H&M
Booties - Michael Antonio
Sunglasses - House of Harlow
Purse - DKNY
Necklace - Vintage given as a gift by my friend…

MONDAY NIGHT:
Both my friend and I appreciate a well made craft cocktail so thought buying her this class as a birthday present would be great. Given our crazy scheduled though we could finally go in October for her past birthday in June!
The class was given by part owner professional bartender of a very cool bar called Polite Provisions in a newly became hip part of town.
We started with some appetizers from next door and a happy hour cocktail before the class….
