It was the night before Christmas

 What I wore Christmas Eve...

Unfortunately I threw out my back so it was an agonizingly painful day... I put on the outfit but didn't really do hair or make up or accessorize. I was barely holding on...

CHRISTMAS EVE:
So yes, I woke up with a scream as I discovered I couldn't stand or still and my back had given out. My hubby had to spend an hour supporting me and helping me walk and stretch to loosen it out as I cried my eyes out. Survived the day constantly taking muscle relaxers and in pain but having the love of family and being Christmas eve was my only savior. Managed the host the party with A LOT of help from hubby. Overall it was a great night and I stretched and hoped I will be able to sleep and be able to stand Christmas morning...

SUNDAY:
Since the kids were at my parents I slept in to overcome the late night we had Saturday night at my hubby's holiday party and the after party...
We then ventured out for brunch before coming home and getting the kids...
At night we had our annual tradition of meeting up at at a doughnut shop after dinner and hitting a neighborhood with Holiday lights with kids amped up on sugar! :)

FRIDAY NIGHT:
What a gorgeous sight it was an ice skating rink right in front of the ocean with Hotel Del in the background... The rink was small and given our temperatures the ice was slushy but it was all worth it...
My daughter stood out like crazy since most skaters were tourists with hardly any skating talent. She would wizz between everyone swirling and twirling, everyone was commenting on how good she was...
