From LA to Tokyo

Last night's going out outfit was inspired by a F21 look:

This super cool neon yellow trench was a thrift store find and I love finding combo's to wear it with….
And I had no time to do anything with my hair hence the addition of the hat! :)

MONDAY:
Started the day with my workout clothes. Went my daughter's school and afterwards we went to Von's near my son's school to pick up popsicles for his class then went to the school. Except I had double booked myself cause I had my daughter's kindergarten assessment appointment and plans to give treats to my son's class to celebrate his b-day all at the same time. Made it work somehow with help of ladies in the school office.

Afterwards we came home for just a little while and yet I managed to fit a workout and a shower and then took the kids for swim practice/class….

After swim we came home and showered and changed the kids while I finished dressing and make-up. My hubby was sick so he was already working from home and took over the kids and I left with my friend to meet the girls after leaving the family with leftovers for dinner.

The girls and I went to a place we used to go often but had changed ownership. Quite close to my house too so that was convenient… It was a great time as always….

I had got these pants with still tags on from a thrift store last year I think. Just getting around to wearing them. They have a great fit. Slim but not tight, flowy too...

YESTERDAY:
Had a nice swim playdate at our friend's house where the kids played and our conversation flowed so easily.
But then had to rush home and shower and get ready. The kids were excited to spend time with Daddy though as he took them to dinner I left to meet the girls for happy hour first then to dinner.
And we spent some time planning a birthday trip to celebrate my big 4-0 that is coming up next month.
Hopefully it will work out.

Metal Detector

 My outfit yesterday to my best friend's 40th B-Day Party... 

The inspiration was from March 2013 issue of Elle magazine with mostly Chanel items....

I decided to go with a red hat since there was very subtle red pop on my tank....

 I do like how it turned out. A bit too much metal but kind of cool right? My mom had these driving gloves but I remembered them to be half finger since they weren't I didn't wear them to the party...
