It's All About the Shades

 What I wore Wednesday to the vintage themed end of year pool party at my friends house to mark the last day of school!

The Theme was vintage scarf and sunglasses for pool side chicness...

I added a hair extension as a ponytail tied a scarf and adding the vintage pearl cat eye sunglasses my mom had bought me with the pearl earrings made it perfect!

WEDNESDAY:

I worked from home that day so I can put in the maximum time before I have to leave to pick up the kids and run to this party...

Of course takes extreme amount of coordination as the party was only the beginning of activities on our doc! I had to pack my son's uniform and sports bag and coordinate so Coach can pick him up from the pool party location to take him to practice. Then I had to pack my daughter's ice skating clothes and bag as well as we went direct from the party to her classes on the rink!

 My outfit on Tuesday... I was anticipating a sunny warm day except we had cold and cloudy day all day long during kids' Field Day at school...

TUESDAY:
It was an all day affair volunteering at my kids' school for their annual 'Field Day' where they transform the upper field into a mini water park/obstacle course. From 8:30 to 11:30 I walked my daughter's 1st grade class from station to station as they had a blast splashing and running and playing and splashing. Then had to walk them back to class room and make sure they got dressed into dry clothes sorted their towels and wet stuff and got to the lunch arbor. Had barely 15 minutes or so to grab lunch myself before I reported again this time to walk my son's 3rd grade class for the next 3.5 hours.
There was actually more drama with the 3rd grade group then the 1st grade class. A bit upsetting to see girls obviously do not outgrow 'drama' as they get to 3rd grade. Yikes...

Of course after all this our day continued with gymnastics and baseball!

FRIDAY:
Last day of kids camp, I stayed home in the morning to catch up on emails and clean out my deep freezer which was a project…
After picking up the kids went straight to my friend's complex for a pool playdate…
