Chasing our Blues Away

Wednesday's inspiration was from H&M's spring Catalog:
Liked this striped button down tunic blouse over skinny jeans and sandals. I opted to wear my new soludos slide on sandals instead of brown ones. I just love them...

Tunic - TJ Maxx
Jeans - J Crew
Sandals - Soludos
Sunglasses - Betsey Johnson

WEDNESDAY:
I have been meeting up with my lil sis pretty much every morning this week as we explore our beautiful city's coastal paths...

Trail Blazers

Today's outfit for going on a short guided hike with our outdoor class...
Inspiration photo:

Vest - Forever 21
Top - From Turkey
Leggings - Macy's
Boots - Steve Madden
Bracelets - Bauble Bar
Necklace - gift from a friend

TODAY:
Met our outdoor class at a state park for some nature hiking but of course with this age group it is really a stretch to call it 'hiking' where we go such a short distance but the kids love hearing all about the plants and the insects. Today was a big discussion on Wood Rat and how they build these big homes with separate rooms for food, sleeping and bathroom and lots of exits. And the cutest thing is they build close to their mom! And after mating they kick the dad out to a bachelor pad in a tree.

The Wood Rat home and her mother's home right across!

Girls want to have fun

This was my outfit to the Botanical Gardens in Encinitas. The Green background was so pretty but since we were with the kids only a few shots of photos....

My mom and stepdad just brought this tee from Turkey....

T-Shirt - from Turkey
Necklace - Shoedazzle
Belt - Ralph Lauren
Sneakers - Converses

YESTERDAY's OUTFIT:
The inspiration from about 5 years ago when I first started collecting inspiration photos from magazines. I figured I needed to wear these super older ones and get them out of my folder!

I love this new cookie lee necklace!

Top - Mango (from Turkey)
Jeans - Forever 21
Necklace - Cookie Lee
Boots - from Kika Runway! :)

YESTERDAY:
We had a super busy day. Morning was spent at the pre-school then went to my friend's house for a just girls playdate while we had lunch. Then picked up my son and took my daughter to gym class then home!

 TODAY:
Another crazy day where we left the house at 8:30 AM and did not come back until 7 PM!
Went to the Botanical Gardens with our outdoor preschool class. My daughter had so much fun with her little girlfriends. Then it was her 4 year check-up appointment where she got her K shots and then we had to get x-rays and so on which all took hours. My hubby had to pick up my son and we all met at Fillippi's for a cozy family dinner which was a great treat to kids.
By the way we are still going strong with P90X. Had to take a break for a few days last week when I was sick but back on this week full force. We are actually doing doubles where 3 days a week in the mornings we add a 45 minute cardio on top of the 6 days of training we do at nights!

I do feel soooo much stronger than we started although  I don't see much in the way I look. May be it will all change at once.

Happy Trails

Had a pick a total casual combo today for our guided nature hike with class activity...

This one from September 2011 issue of Lucky worked just fine:

Vest, Striped cardigan, striped top - Forever 21
Cargo Pants - J Crew
Sneakers - Rocket Dog
Purse - Bueno

TODAY:
Again managed to conduct my work conference calls amongst driving and playground drama this morning.
Our outdoor class met at a playground near a canyon trail. The teacher had arranged to volunteer hiking guides to take the kids to a nature hike. They love these types of walks where they find out about different plants and bugs and walk on uneven ground. It was a lot of fun.

Not sure why she looks so sad...:)
