Figured Jeans would be OK for work since it is a Friday although there are people that wear jeans and hoodies everyday!

FRIDAY:
Thank goodness it was Friday cause this first full work week was brutal. Just a huge adjustment for myself and the family and it is not helping that we are fully booked every weekend for the next few weekends with no room to catch up...
Just trying to take one day and one afternoon and one night at a time...

THURSDAY:
Oh my goodness is it hot here this week! We are just not used to it cause most of our coastal homes do not have AC and neither does our classrooms. I survived the outdoor bootcamp this morning despite the  heat thank goodness the sun wasn't fully out so that helped. After running a million errands right after finally came home to shower and get dressed in time to pick up the kids and take them to my daughter's soccer practice. There was nothing fun about putting shinguards, socks and cleats on my sweating daughter in the heat. I was walking around with a wash cloth towel wiping my face!

SUNDAY:
We went to dinner as a family with another family we met very recently. It is always nice to make new friends. And it was a rare occasion we took our young kids to a nice restaurant down town. But as my son commented today they do know their manners now! :)
It was one of those Brazilian Steakhouse restaurants where they bring you meat on skewers until you say 'no'… My son loved it of course. My daughter ate more bread that she ever has given the open buffet but they both did great.

MONDAY:
Kids started Water Sports camp and the first sport was 'Stand Up Paddle Boarding' Afterwards we took them to lunch then to the beach right across the bay of the camp. 4 hours later they were still going strong. If only we could have that energy…

P.S. The title comes from what Siri said when I used it to send a text to my friend. After it asked me if I was ready to send it and I hit 'send' button it said 'Off to the cloud it goes!'

SUNDAY:

We started the day with an amazing brunch at a Turkish Friend's house. She went all out with one yummy dish after another. Kids had a great time with their son and we had such pleasant conversation for hours.

Then came home to drop off my son so he can go to his tennis lesson with Daddy and took my daughter to Ice Skating. My mom came to meet us there and she surprised my friend by offering to take both daughters home for dinner! So we stayed on and chatted away in peace, shopped a little then met my sister for dinner and saw the movie 'Cake'!

Oh my goodness, I guess it was pretty good acting by Jennifer Aniston but my goodness what a depressing and slow movie and it took forever to figure out what the whole plot was…

Would not recommend it!
