SUNDAY:
We went to dinner as a family with another family we met very recently. It is always nice to make new friends. And it was a rare occasion we took our young kids to a nice restaurant down town. But as my son commented today they do know their manners now! :)
It was one of those Brazilian Steakhouse restaurants where they bring you meat on skewers until you say 'no'… My son loved it of course. My daughter ate more bread that she ever has given the open buffet but they both did great.

MONDAY:
Kids started Water Sports camp and the first sport was 'Stand Up Paddle Boarding' Afterwards we took them to lunch then to the beach right across the bay of the camp. 4 hours later they were still going strong. If only we could have that energy…

SATURDAY:
It was a busy but fun day.
My husband took my son to his baseball game while I took my daughter to her friend's birthday party that was quite a distance from our house. She loved the new venue we had never been with a large jungle gym and a frozen theme. We took the birthday cake to go and drove the same far distance back to the Easter Party at our friend's house.  It was a great party with two different egg hunts set-up for different age groups and yummy treats and drinks. Stayed there all afternoon then my husband left for the padres game with his friend and I took the kids home to meet my mom and have a quiet dinner….

We then changed her into a pretty Easter Dress:

This top is actually from that store as well and got lots of compliments on the neck detail....

Tried on the eye make-up from MAC today myself....

TODAY:
Uneventful day of going to pre-school, picking up son and going to hip hop class and doing errands like grocery shopping and cooking in between.
I am in talks with an organization from USC doing a documentary and they are interested in my blog. Could be my first interview. We shall see. Of course it had to be during the time I will be out of town the next two weekends so lets see how it will all work out....

All white combo with pops of orange and yellow. I added the striped striped purse instead of a yellow purse and did a neon striped tank instead....

I got some eye make-up done at the M.A.C. counter at Nordstrom's... Lets see if I can duplicate myself...

MOTHER's DAY:
Spent the morning with the kids at home and actually did a whole bunch of chores while my hubby was playing tennis. Than he and my step dad came over to spend the rest of the day with the kids hile my mom and my sis and I went to high tea! Spent two leisurely hours there chatting away. Than it was a little bit of shopping a quick and healthy dinner and saw Great Gatsby!
Perfect day!
