Last Supper

 Sorry for the absence during the weekend. We had our version of a heat wave so it was a weekend of maxi summer dresses with no accessories and not much blog worthy in my opinion. Hence no outfit posts. Back to wearing a combination today!

 Got a lot of compliments on this top today.  That little scalloped trim in neon yellow is so subtle and interesting. I layered it over a neon tank as I felt it would be too revealing when I am running after my daughter during school.

This necklace is so delicate and pretty. It actually came with an additional plain chain layers but I simply toss those to the back as I feel they take away from its Channel/Kate Spade look.

Finally ditched the diaper bags all together and am wearing all my great purses every day. This MK was a gift from my mom and one of my cherished ones.

My daughter had snack day at her school so she was the teacher's helper. Even though this is her 3rd year in this class she had never been this excited cause there was no brother to steal the show. She enjoyed ringing the bell for circle time the most...

The inspiration to combine the 'azure blue' bottom with the bright 'citrus' top came from my company's (Kika Paprika) own blog photo:

To add a bit of print I added my brown/blue/white scarf which matched it almost too perfectly!

I finally broke down and bought this coat my size even though I had one size bigger on my rack already. I definitely plan to keep it. Love the color and style...

TODAY:
Morning was a playdate at the Aquarium... We hadn't been there for a year or so hence the kids were very interested. We also realized now they were all tall enough to see the tanks without us having to lift them. Time flies.
Afterwards I came home to shower and change and load up the car with work stuff. Took the kids to my friend's house who did me a huge favor by babysitting them in the middle of her crazy day so I could go to my work party while my husband played match 2 in this weekend's tennis tournament.
My party went great and he won his match! :)
