Woke Up Like This

 What I wore to work yesterday...

Inspired by the Cabi's current season look:

I have the same cabi pants and top paired with my own navy cardigan and went a bit more casual with the brown wedges instead of heels.

 Just the right amount of cropness and flare and the softest cotton on earth that does not show any stretching or wrinkles...

TUESDAY:
It is birthday week for my little boy...
Auntie and Uncle took him out to dinner Sunday night and my parents took him (and my daughter) out last night...
It was my mom's birthday too! But we are taking her out Friday night...

State Capital

 What I wore last Friday as I went with my son and his school Student Council grp to Sacramento to visit the state capital!

We were going to be gone from 5:30 AM to 9:30 PM all day so I wanted to pick an outfit that was comfortable and would hold its shape all day and not show dirt or stains but also look semi-professional as we toured government buildings and museums...

Inspiration from Cabi's current season:

I loved this cotton tank and pants combo immediately when I viewed the current season looks. The fabric is such a thick high quality cotton and it does not stretch yet has the feel of athletic clothing.
Due to the drapy texture it looks very dressy.

I liked the idea of adding a neck scarf and a long necklace. Nude ballet flats keep it practical and a thin cardi in the same tone allow to battle the chilly airplane climate without distracting from the outfit...

WEDNESDAY:
Worked on a few drawers in my room as far as my house cleansing project goes, it was half day for the kids so picked them up and they played leisurely for a while on their own at home.
After homework took my son to swim practice followed by a 2.5 hour soccer practice. Good thing is our carpool plan has started so I just had to drop him off and come back home with my daughter. She enjoyed a long solo bath then we browsed the 'American Girl' doll catalog together and had some quality time.

 Have been busy even at nights so trying to catch up now… This was my outfit Saturday afternoon and night….

SATURDAY:
Went to the famous bazaar in the morning after breakfast. My son went to the beach with my cousin and his fiancé and took my daughter with us. My step dad hung out with her but we spent very short amount of time so we are hoping to go back again next saturday without the kids.

 I am here at fig season!!!!

Then we went to the beach again with family then my uncle arrived and we had a great nice big dinner with family at night.
