 Today's combo was inspired by a blogger I enjoy following called

 'Not Dressed As Lamb':

 This was a fun combo with a tunic dress and a fedora and the leggings made it very practical for me. Now that I look at the photos though I feel the ankle cuff sandals are not the best pairing but oh well...

TODAY:
Woke up OK but slowly started to feel just not right but kept on going. We went to the outdoor class to a park and I definitely was not feeling great. I had so much to catch up on though so went to the indoor play area so she can play and I can work then picked up my son and by that time I felt horribly sick. I took an immunity booster and medicine and begged the kids to let me sleep for an hour.
Amazingly they were good. My son started his homework when I told him and finished all of it. I am so happy by end of 1st grade I have trained him to do his own homework. My daughter kept busy with the ipad which is not great but I had to sleep. They were washing plums for a snack when I woke up and told me they resolved the red star cookie fight by simply throwing it away so no one eats it and there won't be a fight and they will both eat the blue ones after dinner.
Sometimes you got to leave them to their own devices. :)

I managed enough strength to cook them very yummy chicken fajita taco's and got them ready for bed. No workout for me today and I plan to go to bed early and hope I can kick off this thing quick...

Here was my daughter today wearing her new short/t-shirt combo and the 'very flexible' shoes my mom got her so she can wear them barefoot and still climb trees.

Leisurely morning at home then went to my friend's son's 4th birthday party with my mom as my husband competed at a local tennis tournament. Feel like I am coming down with something. Hope not....

So nice to be actually take photos somewhere other than around my house...
My mom and step dad wanted to take the kids today so I can catch up with work and housework and my hubby suggested we go out to lunch. Since I was going to go out with my friend in the afternoon I wanted to dress once. When we parked this gorgeous brick wall of a parking lot was right there perfect for a quick photo shoot before lunch!

The inspiration for the outfit was from this Chictopia Post from the Oh My Vogue Blog:

This was just a simple combo and reminded me of this mustard yellow silky dress I own from Forever 21. Perfect way to wear it again...

This was what I wore to the show at my sister's house for work! The dress is new from the line I sell called 'Kika Paprika'. I actually love this dress in the red color which I also have in my sample rack on a different size. But I ordered it in the classic black because I have many outfit ideas using its high neck and sleek style as a base to accessorize.
Today though I forgot to bring my sandals so wore the lita's instead. It would have been cooler with sandals and a white necklace but this also worked with a borrowed red necklace from my sister.

My sister was also dressed from my line and looked great in a bright yellow maxi vest:

 We first put on her the 'cowl neck' top but then wanted to add accessories so changed the top afterwards...

Here is the new top which is a 'reversible tank'. You can wear this tank either as a 'v'neck front or like this as a 'high round neck' front. The high neck front gives a great base for a cool necklace like this:
