YESTERDAY:
We visited my dear friend who had her son a week ago. The baby was as cute can be and my daughter was so into him.  We spent sometime visiting and had lunch then went to the indoor play area so I can work a bit before picking up my son and doing gym lesson than cooking for hours. The Insanity nutrition diet requires so much prep time. I try to get most of the meals ready for both my self and my husband and my son the night before. The good thing is I love the meals. They are simple individually it is just 5 of them which adds up to be a lot. So healthy though which makes me happy.

TODAY's OUTFIT
Today I wore the same dress as a skirt and wore the cowl neck top in the matching to create this stunning maxi dress. Got lots of compliments today...

For that brief 10 minutes it was cold in the morning I added this soft cardigan but than it was super warm today....

Went to pre-school where after class my daughter with her girlfriends put together a cute little show for us. Then went to my dr's appointment and then to my son's school which had a huge fiesta.
My in-laws and parents were there to celebrate with us and the kids....

Talk pretty to me

Yesterday's bright combo was inspired by In Style's April 2013 issue:

Since the inspiration didn't show what you wear underneath I picked this super fun top I got from LOFT last year. The colors totally pick up the red purse and the yellow jeans and the graphic is subtle enough to not clash with the animal print pea coat....

The bold cuff:

The fun earrings:

Purse - Coach
Earrings - Asos

YESTERDAY:
Insanity is kicking our butt. They definitely live up to their name as the exercises we have done so far are quite insane indeed. The good thing is they are short (40 minutes or so compared to 1.5 hour P90X tapes). You sweat like crazy. My face remains red hours after and I feel every jiggle in my body it seems. Thank goodness we are doing the nutrition plan that goes with it cause I don't know how you can do these without the proper food nourishment. It involves eating a lot of small meals that are perfectly balanced with protein, veggies and fruit and good carbs. I am very hopeful. We shall see...

Starting Insanity

Today's outfit was inspired by Lucky's April 2013 issue. So, there you go using a very recent inspiration for once...
I am always looking for fun combo's for this polka dot blazer and this one paired it with the vintage eyelet skirt my mom gave me years ago.... Added the denim shirt, hoop earrings and gold shoes like the photo but also added a pearlized necklace and a thicker belt....

TODAY:
It was an uneventful but full day. School, grocery stores, home, kindergarten pick-up, hip hop class, daughter hair trim, home, dinner.
After school we hit the grocery store again. I feel I will be going there a lot this week. Today is the start of 'Insanity' program for us now that we are done with P90X. I was still missing a few things after the big grocery shopping over the weekend. Mainly the sashimi and sushi that was on the diet which has to be bought fresh. The meals are extremely healthy.

Breakfast was power oatmeal mixed with protein powder, blueberries and walnuts.
2nd meal (morning snack which I made yesterday) was an omelette made with 1 egg and 3 egg whites and mushrooms and onions and feta cheese. Coupled with a bowl of mellon and a slice of wheat toast. Lunch was grilled chicken salad that also had pecans and apples in it.
Afternoon meal was 6 sashimi pieces with half a cup of brown rice and mixed greens.
Dinner was a breaded baked cod with mixed vegetables.

I also added an after workout snack of half a wheat English muffin with part skim slice of cheese. Drinking lots of water and this tea drink I got the recipe from my sister.
Tonight's workout was just a fit test so excited to really start tomorrow.

Game Over

Today's outfit. Which I have to admit I wore it with black ballet flats and it didn't look nearly as cool as it does with the heels here. But I did this huge grocery shopping then went to the mall so no way was I doing all that in heels....

The Inspiration was from the Bloomingdale's catalog:

I had this funky tee in my give-away pile but when I saw this inspiration pulled it out at least to wear it once. My cousin had won this during comic con.

Boyfriend Blazer - Newport News
Tee - from Comic Con
Jeans - Victoria's Secret
Heels - Steve Madden

TODAY:
I got to sleep in today since the kids had spent the night at my mom's house. But I had to get ready pretty early and did a big grocery shopping. We have finished P90X and on Monday starting the Insanity program. Again by Beach Body. THis time though I am determined to follow the nutrition plan. Cause even though I got ridiculously strong with P90X and probably formed muscles under there somewhere you can't see them as I have absolutely no change in my appearance. So, I figured to see true results I need to follow the food portion of these programs. End of May is my sister's bacheloratte party in Vegas so that is my big motivator to follow everything and see what happens.
Hence the big grocery shopping....

Then met my mom and Daughter at the mall. Tried on more swim suits I had put on hold yesterday. My goal has been to find one pieces which look so much better on me than bikinis but do not look like 'mom swim suits'. Found some really cool ones so I am excited. Takes a lot of trying on though which is exhausting. I so prefer online shopping. :)

My cousins took my son to the Padres game during this whole day and they had a great time with him...

YESTERDAY's OUTFIT

Yesterday's outfit was again from that series of inspiration I cut out to create with kika's print tank....

Our 'daphne' jacket in black actually would have been perfect but I don't have it in black so had to wear this shrug which was not the best fit.I also would have loved strappy sandals but my day was so insane that I needed these boots to survive it all...

SATURDAY:
Saturday was insane.... My hubby was at a tennis tournament in Vegas so I was solo but I had a lot of help. I planned everything so I could do it all by myself but when help was offered I graciously accept immediately.  My neighbor offered to take my son to his game so I could come a bit later which helped a lot. So it started with an 8:30 AM game, followed by acting classes from 10-11 AM, then birthday party from 11 to 1 PM and then to the Turkish School Children's holiday performance. Had to change kids' outfits couple times from event to event but made it to everything just a bit late but not too bad. My mom tagged along during this journey which was so nice. My stepfather also pitched in by coming to the game then driving him from the game to class etc...
After the Turkish school the Kids went home with grandparents while my sister and I went to the mall for swim suit and facial stuff shopping. It was so nice to leisurely shop. We ended the day with  movies.
