FRIDAY:
Had a crazy day in the afternoon coordinating kids playdate schedules. So many texts were flying around trying to coordinate that we mom's were starting to feel like agents of movie stars. There was a point in the afternoon where I had none of my own children but was watching other people's kids.
So the jist of it was my daughter had a playdate at a friend's house. I took my son and two of his friends to the rec center to meet other friends. But then my son has swim team practice and so my friend took him and her older daughter who is also in the team to the practice while I stayed with her son at the park. Then my friend's sitter came to pick up her son while dropping off my daughter then I took my friend's son and her to the school and my friend met us there with my son and her daughter and we had family movie night at the school after that crazy kid swapping! :)

Cozy Drive

Thursday's outfit was inspired by a pintrest look:

Her camel coat is a bit more deeper shade so pops better against the cream thick sweater but mine I think still works…
I have to pick cozy outfits like this for when I take my kids ice skating so this was great for that...

Get Real

My outfit Wednesday was inspired by J Crew look from Dec of 2013!:

GIven that I have the same shirt and hat had to create the outfit by adding coated skinny jeans and I used color blocked red/burgundy flats instead of jeweled heels which so would not fit my lifestyle...

Cap, Shirt, Necklace - J Crew
Jeggings - Guess
Flats - Sole Society
Purse - Shoedazzle

That is just how we do it

Tuesday's outfit was inspired by not one but two looks.

The first one from Asos Website:

2nd was from Bee (Atlantic Pacific):

So the concept was floral sweatshirt with tailored pants and pointy toed shoes…

Sweatshirt - J Crew
Pants - Forever 21
Shoes - Zara
Purse - DKNY
Earrings - Steve Madden

TUESDAY:
Well 2nd week of my bootcamp and I signed up for the month which will ensure I do not flake and might even motivate me to go more than twice a week as the monthly not only saves me money but allows me to go unlimited classes.
It is funny cause before each class as I feel tired from waking up so early and the dealing with the hustle and bustle of getting kids out the door and to school I am sooo tempted to just skip and go home.
But I hang in there and sure enough without fail after the class I feel so amazing and wonder how I ever thought about skipping.
It is such a great atmosphere cause it is more than just doing a gym class in a crowded classroom surrounded by people you don't know and if you were to walk out in mid class no one would stop you and ask why?
But this is a semi private session where the trainer knows all our names and correct and monitors our form the entire time and everyone introduces themselves if they don't know you already.
I just love the dynamics of the class and that it is different every time and the 60 minutes goes by pretty fast without ever looking at the clock…
I just wonder when I will stop being the only one that seems to be breathing like I am dying at the end of each circuit! :)

In the moment

Monday's outfit was inspired by a J  Crew 'look' from their factory Website:

I hadn't worn my down vest in a while so it was perfect to pair over this fair isle sweater which has a touch of pink in it and they went great together… To be hones though I didn't keep the patent leather heels on and switched to uggs as we were going ice skating! :)

Vest - FOrever 21
Sweater - H&M
Jeans - Closet
Heels - J Crew

MONDAY:
It was a holiday here and the kids were off school. We met up and the ice skating rink first for lunch then to skate. My sister came too and here and I rented skates and were on the ice as well while her husband, my parents watched. My ankles and side of my legs were burning from using muscles I never use but it was fun.
It is also amazing how I got better at skating from watching the kids skate. Didn't know if that is possible. I was joking the other day with my friends. May be I have this special talent of learning a sport by watching so next you will see me playing soccer and basketball! :)
