Country Club

Went to the luxury movie theaters with my Dad tonight for his very late b-day outing...

Used this inspiration that I had saved from Chictopia probably 2 years ago!

This was so simple yet chic and stylish I loved it. The fur collar makes all the difference and I love the idea of sheer black panty hose with bronze heels!

For outerware I put on my ruffle hem trench coat....

TODAY:
Ah, I decided to ditch my daughter's outdoor class and go to the indoor play area instead so I can catch up with work but the place was closed for a private event and it was too much rush hour traffic to go anywhere else so we came home and it wasn't very productive.
Lunchtime I took my daughter to my mom's house and went to my son's school to volunteer in his class taking each kid's photos with winter clothes for their upcoming 'winter sing' event. I so love working with his classmates. They are all so adorable.
Then took him for frozen yogurt just the two of us before coming home.
Night went to the luxury movies with my dad for dinner and a movie. Unfortunately he fell a sleep and we missed the movie we were supposed to see (life of pi) but saw 'argo' instead which was phenomenal.
Great night.

Who is wearing Kika? - Meet Crystal

Who is wearing Kika? - Meet Crystal

As you might have read this is a new feature on my blog where every Monday I post a different model styled in the wonderful comfortable and stylish clothing line I sell: kikaPaprika!

Meet Crystal - one of my sister's closest friend
You met her originally when we did a group photo shoot with my lil Sis Buket, Crystal and Samantha in THIS post...

Crystal is classic 20 something who is starting her adult life. Graduated from college in 2009 and is just starting her career as a financial analyst. This gorgeous blonde is a newly wed just 3 months ago.
She has a very conservative dressy workplace where men wear ties and no jeans are allowed even on casual Fridays!

Here is what she has to say about kika Paprika clothes: "I love the kika dresses and tops because I can add a dressier slack or skirt and make it appropriate for my office. I love the dresses because they are comfortable, don't wrinkle, are machine washable and the color has maintained it's richness with multiple washes. I typically add a dressy cardigan or colorful scarf to dress up the cotton and make it office appropriate'

We first put on this professional work attire on Crystal. The grey black is very classic color combo and she felt very comfortable in these soft and stretchy pieces...

'Jenna' knee length pencil skirt by kikaPaprika ($66)

OUTFIT #2
We wanted to show how good the 'Rachel' top looked on its own so here are a few poses without the jacket...

OUTFIT #3
Showing how you can mix and match pieces we simply swapped the 'kelly' jacket with the thermal 'Jackie' here....

This jacket can be worn as such in a dressy fashion or buttoned up like a tunic top in a very casual fashion as well. And it is so heavenly soft...

Looking at your big brown Eyes

Today's outfit came out so much cuter than I had thought...
Initially I bought these pieces to put together the inspiration outfit below:
But I had already sold the polka dot scarf featured above so instead I added my fuzzy animal print beret that I bought from F21 months ago. It was perfect!

I love how the vest dyed in this 'cognac' color gives it suede like look:

I searched high and low for cuff boots this season with absolutely no luck. One day while at the outdoor class I saw these from gilt's sale and bought them right away. Exactly what I wanted and such a wearable low heel too. But when they came in the box I thought my legs were going to swim in them but since the widest part hits right at my knees it actually looks OK and makes my legs look thicker which I love.

Skirt - 'Simone' in black by kikaPaprika

TODAY:
Went to my first vendor bazaar today at a hotel. It was fun but clothes are very hard to sell at these types of events. People were just not looking at the rack but did sell accessories at least.
While I was working my hubby took the kids to buy their xmas tree with my step dad. Our tradition is kids get to pick a fresh mini tree that they decorate with their ornaments in the family room and we get to have the fancy (fake) tree in the living room.  But this time I guess they picked a full size tree so now it looks a bit pretentious with having two full sized trees in our house. They were so happy though. I self consult myself over and over to not get involved and let them hang their ornaments exactly where they want. WHich is completely grouped together exactly at their eye level.

Then we went to a BBQ at our friend's house!
