Turn back time

My outfit on Thursday for my son's birthday dinner at a Brazilian Steak Restaurant per his choosing...

The inspiration was from this Bloomingdales or Nordstrom Lookbook photo:

I got to wear my velvet  bow choker necklace... Asos and Topshop was selling similar ones and so was Baublebar but at much higher prices. So I got this from Forever 21. It came with this cheap rhinestone charm in the middle and I took it out and love this simple look so much better...

Cape Coat - TJ Maxx
Blouse - Cotton On
Choker - Forever 21
Jeans - H&M
Heels - J Crew

THURSDAY:
Still trying to heal by injured sholder blade and resting most of the day besides running errands.
But in the afternoon. Took my son to swimming and rushed direct from there to the restaurant downtown for my son's birthday dinner with the family. The boy ate soooo much meat it was impressive. And had crab legs and sushi on the side!

Fly Away

Another cute inspiration from blog 'Not Dressed As Lamb':

I switched up the colors a little so went with camel colored cape coat instead of grey and used tan boots instead of cognac and used a beret instead of fedora but kept the animal print design….

When I took off the coat I had a orange and pink necklace scarf and took off the animal print beret as it clashed with the scarf...

Coat, Sweater, Pants, Beret - Forever 21
Boots - Shoedazzle
Scarf - Anthropologie

WEDNESDAY:
It was half day school for the kids. I did nothing but cook and bake after I dropped them off at school. Baking 3 boxes of brownies from a box was not that time consuming. BUT, individually wrapping each square in saran wrap sure was!
I also prepp'd the dinner and my lunch and the snacks kids will need between all the upcoming appointments.
Went early to school to help out with the bake sale that benefits an african children's organization. Then picked up the kids and rushed from Dentist to Orthodontist for my son while my mom came to the rescue and picked up my daughter so she doesn't have to come to all of this. Changed my son to his baseball uniform at the orthodontist office and rushed to his game direct from there!
The game took full 2 hours but they won and he even caught a pop ball (or is it called fly ball?, I am still learning)! He was so excited.
Came home to dinner I had already cooked and put them to bed. I was exhausted...
