NEW HAIR

Well, here it is.... I was too lazy to post yesterday's outfit so I am going to do that at the end of this post but figured you would want to see my new hair cut and color from last night first!!!!

The inspiration by the way for the outfit was from the recent Bloomingdale's catalog:

Well it was a lot of firsts last night.... I have never had my hair cut this short. I have actually only cut my hair once in my life to shoulder length my senior year in high school besides that it has always been medium to long length. Even though I have been blonde before it was always via highlights and I had never bleached it. This was achieved by first bleaching my whole head!. I have also never thinned my hair where as this hair cut required it. Before the thinning it was amazing how 'momsy' and classic and boring it looked...
I am going to enjoy this length for the summer I think. We'll have to see how I do with the styling... I washed it for the first time tonight after our workout and I can already see there will be a lot of different styles I can do with it from curly to wavy to straight.... :)

LOOK HOW SHORT IT IS!!!!!
Even my hair dresser was in aw of my bravery and guts with going so short!

AND HERE IS MY OUTFIT YESTERDAY:

THe long hair is now gone!

Trench - Guess
Top, Blouse, Jeans - Forever 21
Purse - Coach
Boots - Steve Madden

YESTERDAY:
We had a fun (and cold day) at Sea World with our class field trip and my dad joined us too.
The girls were just in heaven hanging together. We ditched the stroller so we can get them to walk which they did fine but my goodness getting from point A to point B was like herding a very crazy and chaotic group.  It was nice cause my Dad got to see what a crazy group of mom's we are and also how much we operate as a group supporting and helping each other every step of the way without actually having to ask or tell each other what to do. It is pretty amazing.
The moms I think were more exhausted than the kids by the afternoon!

My son didn't come with us as he had school but we took the photo before he left for school....

In the parking lot. You can feel how cold it was....

Mirror mirror on the wall I am my mother after all

This was my outfit last night to an art benefit downtown....

The inspiration was from an older ELLE issue:
I liked the pairing of army green and tan and pencil skirt with military jacket....

To make it feminine I added the 'eagle' necklace and the brass skull betsey earrings and a single cuff....

I will wear these Juicy booties forever I think....

Jacket - Romeo & Juliet
Skirt - Bebe
Booties - Juicy Couture
Purse - Michael Kors
Accessories - Betsey Johnson, Forever 21

YESTERDAY:
Had a boring day as I had to take my son to the dentist for two fillings and two extractions at 8 AM! And he had to go on an empty stomach so he was whining the whole morning because we wouldn't let him eat. The kid already eats like a teenager so we knew he would be upset. Sure enough as soon as he was out he begged for food. My mom came to stay with us so she can help which was so nice as she gardened and cooked and entertained the kids! And at night she was starting to flake on going out but I convinced her to get dressed up so she can join me and the girls.

We went to a cute art benefit at a sushi restaurant with a grey goose hosted bar.

Here is my beautiful Mom styling her kika Paprika dress with some edgy  layers and accessories....

There's time to spare

Yesterday's outfit was inspired by this Chictopia Post:

Just a simple combo but I love the crispness of the white denim with black striped top and army green jacket....

Boots - Steve Madden
Everything Else - Forever 21!

I miss my extensions already... Getting my hair done today so lets see with color if my hair looks as exciting as it did when it was loner. :(

When you wish upon a star

A very quick solo pose at Disney from our all day trip yesterday...
I wore the super cute Rapunzel tee my mom bought me for Christmas over the coated skinny's and studded boots. Had to add a t-neck and a hat since it was quite chilly. Even wore a coat over this by afternoon....

Hat, pants - Forever 21
Tee - Disney
T-neck - Charlotte Russe
Boots - Steve Madden

DISNEYLAND:
It was a miracle that we arrived and were at the gate just as they opened the doors. But as usual with our disney trips we go at the pace of the kids not rushing them and not worrying about what we don't see and enjoy what we do. With that pace there are always rides we have never done so it feels different to them each time. The big highlight for my princess was getting her hair, make-up and nails done at the bibbidi bobbidi boutique. They call it princess transformations by fairy god mother's. It was so cute to watch and she was in heaven. We weren't too crazy about the super tight bun but she wanted that style. During that time my hubby actually convinced my son to ride space mountain which was huge cause we would love them to love roller coasters as they qualify for the height requirements. We even did the new cars racer ride which was probably a bit much for my daughter but she hung in there. Then again she is much more of a dare devil than my son. We had such a fun day just the 4 of us.

She picks the colors of the eye shadows and the nail polish. They are all very pale and tasteful.

And below she gets fairy dust powder to make all her wishes come true which made me teary eyed watching. :)

Finally found the bow and arrow to go with her 'Merida' from Brave dress...

Happy Birthday to our little Princess!
