Back to School

For Monday's outfit I used the J Crew catalog as my inspiration:

These shoes get sooooo many compliments every time I wear them. From women and even men. They truly are beautiful and the chunky 2 inch heel is quite reasonable...

Graduation

Today's outfit was from a very old inspiration back from Sept 2011 issue of In Style....

This is more of a work/office outfit but since I do not have an office job I figured why not. It was conservative yet chic perfect for my little man's Kindergarten graduation!

Got lots of compliments on my necklace (Christmas gift from my husband)...

This khaki pencil skirt is so old but timeless. It is lined and stretchy so very easy to wear...

Sweater - Forever 21
Necklace - J Crew
Skirt - Bebe
Purse - Shoedazzle
Flats - Tilly's
Watch - Ed Hardy

TODAY:
Big day today for my son... Took him to school then came home and tried to finish again all the piled up laundry that I didn't do this weekend. My mom and Dad met me at home and we went early afternoon to my son's school to watch his Kindergarten graduation ceremony. My brother and his family and hubby met us there. He was probably the only kid with the most family members present at his ceremony. They sang 6 cutest songs and then their names were called out as they gave their teacher a hug and officially became ready for 1st grade!
I can't believe how fast time goes by.

With the girl he likes in his class...

With his teacher who we'll miss so much...

Members of the family that were able to come to celebrate...

Mirror mirror on the wall I am my mother after all

This was my outfit last night to an art benefit downtown....

The inspiration was from an older ELLE issue:
I liked the pairing of army green and tan and pencil skirt with military jacket....

To make it feminine I added the 'eagle' necklace and the brass skull betsey earrings and a single cuff....

I will wear these Juicy booties forever I think....

Jacket - Romeo & Juliet
Skirt - Bebe
Booties - Juicy Couture
Purse - Michael Kors
Accessories - Betsey Johnson, Forever 21

YESTERDAY:
Had a boring day as I had to take my son to the dentist for two fillings and two extractions at 8 AM! And he had to go on an empty stomach so he was whining the whole morning because we wouldn't let him eat. The kid already eats like a teenager so we knew he would be upset. Sure enough as soon as he was out he begged for food. My mom came to stay with us so she can help which was so nice as she gardened and cooked and entertained the kids! And at night she was starting to flake on going out but I convinced her to get dressed up so she can join me and the girls.

We went to a cute art benefit at a sushi restaurant with a grey goose hosted bar.

Here is my beautiful Mom styling her kika Paprika dress with some edgy  layers and accessories....
