Back to School

For Monday's outfit I used the J Crew catalog as my inspiration:

These shoes get sooooo many compliments every time I wear them. From women and even men. They truly are beautiful and the chunky 2 inch heel is quite reasonable...

 Top - J Crew Factory

Necklace - Ann Taylor LOFT

MONDAY - 1st Day Of School
Big day for the kids and me to finally get back to routine of them out of the house for a few hours so I can run errands do house project and work out....
They are getting so big now. My son is starting 4th grade and my daughter 2nd grade...

Wine Women and Song

Saturday night's outfit to my friend's chorus concert with friends and my mother in law.
The inspiration was from Who What Wear website:
I liked the idea of a looser tank over the chiffon pants. Unfortunately though I didn't have a black silky tank top so decided to go with my bronze metallic top instead….

Top - J Crew
Necklace - Ann Taylor LOFT
Pants - Threadsence
Belt - from Turkey
Platforms - Luxury Rebel
Sunglasses - Vogue

SATURDAY:
Had a day filled with soccer games in the morning followed by swimming at home and ballet class.

After all the activities left my hubby and his father to BBQ and have dinner with the kids while my mother in law and I got dressed and went up the hill for a 'Wine Women and Song' event where my friend sang with her amazing chorus.
They were breathtakingly good. It was just pure joy….

On the Edge

Good to be back in the midst of home projects and unpacking, dressed up for the busy day on Thursday.

Inspired by  J Crew's February, 2014 catalog:

How do you like the NEW HAIRCUT???
Went a little shorter and edgier for a little while...

Top - TJ Maxx
Skirt - Closet
Earrings - Cookie Lee
Necklace - Ann Taylor LOFT
Booties - Betsey Johnson
Sunglasses - Karen Walker

THURSDAY:
A huge portion of the day involved our upstairs carpet installation. Which was a major ordeal as we had to move everything on the floor plus the bottom halves of 3 closets. The big furniture was moved by them but all the stuff on each piece had to be moved which is a lot bigger deal that you can imagine. And the closets! Especially mine! As you can imagine a blogger closet it was insane. I filled a huge jacuzzi bath tub with shoe boxes which are only the shoes that do not fit in my shoe rack! Might be a sign of a problem. Now I can't put any of it back without cleansing it first which is taking FOREVER!
In the afternoon went to my daughter's Kindergarten picnic.  There were a lot of families we already know thru my son's class who also have younger siblings so it is going to be fun.
We don't find out which class she is going to be in until the day before so the excitement builds…
