In Craft We Trust

What I wore Saturday as I met up with the girls to do a self guided 'brewery crawl' for my friend's b-day...

Inspiration from this Pinterest:

I realized I probably gone much more casual but I had been wanting to wear this dress since I lost the weight so not casual for me...

Dress - SheIn
Necklace - Baublebar
Wedges - From Turkey

SATURDAY:
Here are the fun photos we took as we went from one brewery to another. San Diego is now theming with them... I am not a beer drinker though so asking for the lightest beer in every place and getting smaller pours was the way I had to go.
The food was good though but beer and bar food all night is quite filling...
It was a fun experience...

Cherry Bomb

Yesterday's outfit was inspired by this Chictopia Post:

A simple combo with pops of red…
Yes, I was on the phone during this shoot. I had to do a few photos very quickly before leaving and I was talking to my Dad so did both at the same time. :)

Scarf, Shoes - From Turkey
Jeans - H&M
Purse - 2651 (or something like that. I can never remember)

FRIDAY:
We spent the morning (well more me while the kids played) cleaning up the house and putting away all the Christmas decorations, gift wrapping supplies and gifts. It was a daunting tax but I like to do it before New Year's cause I am even more tired by that time plus we don't spend NYE at home.
My friends and family would tell you how I am a bit of an organizer. Ok, not a bit but a lot to the point of  being a disorder. So I get this great high from cleaning up and organizing stuff. When we finished, showered and dressed I took the kids out for lunch. My son insisted we try a new place so went to a non chain local fish taco restaurant. We had fresh fish bowls that was delicious. Then stopped at the library which was closed to drop off books/movies we are done with and headed to the rec center for the kids to burn some energy. My daughter immediately made friends and my son found a schoolmate to play two touch (a ball game he is obsessed with). After couple hours of play we came home and they played with Daddy who was early and I rested my irritated eyes then left to meet my friends for happy hour and a movie. Seeing so many movies this month but it is always the case close the Oscars we like to see all the big name movies. Tonight was 'Wolf of Wall Street'. It was excellent. Super long movie but fast paced and engaging so it doesn't drag.

On the Wedge

Today's combo came together really nicely. It was inspired by this Chictopia post:
I wish my jacket was a bit longer but I love the look especially with the bright red heels. And I chose my comfy wedges so they were a breeze to walk in despite the height…

Jacket - Vintage (thrifted)
Blouse - Bebe
Coated Jeans - Forever 21
Wedges - From Turkey
Purse - DKNY
Necklace - Cookie Lee

TODAY:
We went to Turkish School this morning then I contemplated going shopping but thought better of it and came home so I can prepare for our trip instead. Good thing I did cause there was so much todo. I have advanced shopped for Christmas gifts for the family we are going to see at Thanksgiving so that we can give it to them than and avoid shipping costs. So I had to wrap those. Then packed all sorts of board games and toys and sand toys for the kids. And even packed the kids luggage completely. Paid the bills, cleaned the kitchen and even got out the outfits I am considering taking but I need to test drive them to make sure the combo's work. But feel good about all the work that is done.
Then at night we met the family for dinner to celebrate my sisters's b-day this time with my parents.

It was a tapas place and my son probably the only 6 year old who would order clams in a shell, prosciutto bruschetta. And ate half of my marinated octopus Salad plus 2 rolls of bread. The kid can eat. My daughter on the other hand ate nothing but the rolls! :)
We then came to our house for cake and a show performed by my daughter…
