Center Stage

I seem to be on some kind of aqua kick I realize now. The thing is I don't think about it until I look at the blog history that I have been doing aqua combo's for a few days in a row now!

This one was inspired by a cute blog I have discovered called 'Last Year of Twenty Something'! Not sure if she is going to change her blog title when she turns 30 in 6 months but it is very cute. She had posted this photo and I saved both combinations as inspirations:

What I liked in the combo on the right was mixing orange with aqua green and pearls and touch of yellows.

The long necklace is from Target's new "Webster Miami' collection which I loved.

The fact that the bracelets match the shoes is totally by luck!

TODAY:
Had a playdate at our house with a friend I haven't seen in a while so it was nice to catch-up and have the kids re-connect again. We had envisioned a sunny day where we let the kids play with water table but of course murphy's law it was a cold and chilly day. But since we had both already promised the kids water play so we had to give in. Kids really could care less about the weather. And my daughter is obsessed with wearing her swim suits. After lunch and naps my parents took the kids for their Karate classes and ice cream than I met them for a dinner out.

Come out and play

Today's outfit. Can you tell I am all into aqua and red these days? I added the black and white stripes to today's combo to make it more fun.

I liked these round red sunglasses when I visited Target the other day...

TODAY:
Went to pre-school this morning then an idea was thrown to go to Phil's BBQ. All the mom's who did not pack lunch agreed to go. They gave us the back table in the patio so we didn't bother anyone else with 12 kids and only 6 adults. We enjoy these spontaneous lunch outings. I am starting to realize how much not only the friendship between our kids have grown but between us as mommies as well. We see each other 3-4 times a week and share pretty much so many details of our lives. There is no one to cheer me more when I announce the potty accident streak my daughter was on has ended. It is the little things that bring us closer and as most of our kids are going to start school tomorrow the idea of of not seeing each other on a daily basis is looming in on us.
When we got home my daughter fell a sleep in the car and my son begged me if he could check out the pool temp and felt it was warm enough to swim. I was happy to see has not forgotten how to swim as he jumped over and over from the high wall and swam to the edge.

Here are a few photos from the last couple of days where both kids got haircuts but it was my daughter's first! and Kids have taken to putting on swim suits and dumping water from a bucket I fill over the slide and swings. Not sure why but they find it so much entertainment in this activity...

Spring Fashion Beauty Bash

I am so happy I ordered these 'twill capri's in this bright 'Azure' cause I love them!

This tissue thin top is one of our most popular items. It comes in black, aqua and neon coral but the simple white works great for this look...

The bracelet my husband brought from his trip to India couple years ago...

Knowing I would be on my feet for hours today the flats were a way to go but they also looked the best among the other wedge sandals I tried on with this outfit...
