Today's combo was inspired by the photo in the Anthropologie Fall 2011 Magazine:

 The reason this was inspiring to me was due to the fact that it was using everything I owned in a combination I wouldn't have thought of...

 I didn't wear these heels though with the kids I swapped them for a same tone turquoise beaded flip flops from Turkey...

TODAY:

We have started our 'Monday Playdate' with my two other friends. Their kids go to pre-school everyday during fall/winter so summers are the time we can do this. This is the same group we have vacationed together and done weekend trips and our husbands hang out as well. Traditionally the summer playdates are supposed to be either pool or beach but summer has not quite arrived in San Diego yet so we kept the kids out of the water today. 

There were definitely great moments to take photos of but we were all too lazy to take them. Our sons play great together and now that our girls are a bit older they totally play house and princess together which is so cute.

The boys were playing Wii dance party and dancing to 'keep on shuffling' and I thought that was a great blog title that describes my life...

This was my outfit on Saturday to the craziest most busiest day I have had in a long time!

My Kika Paprika vest in the neon coral was the perfect match to re-create the look:

My super cool turquoise and coral feather and bead necklace was just perfect over another Kika Paprika piece: The Leah top...

 This hat I have to say at my 4th and final event which was going out with my best friend got a lot of attention and compliments...

SATURDAY: 

Was really insane... I had 4 back to back events... Left the house at 10:30 AM and did not come back until 11:30 PM!

I did the first 2 parties solo with the kids while my husband played a tennis match. Then he met me at the 3rd party and from there he took the kids home and I left directly to meet up with my friend. We had a great time just the two of us for a change. We started with a cool and laid back wine bar, followed by this amazing dinner from a 'snack shack' then coffee at a quaint coffee house...

Well I was quite beat after such a crazy day!

 Today's outfit I wore to a work party at night...

The inspiration to combine the 'azure blue' bottom with the bright 'citrus' top came from my company's (Kika Paprika) own blog photo:

To add a bit of print I added my brown/blue/white scarf which matched it almost too perfectly!

I finally broke down and bought this coat my size even though I had one size bigger on my rack already. I definitely plan to keep it. Love the color and style...

TODAY:
Morning was a playdate at the Aquarium... We hadn't been there for a year or so hence the kids were very interested. We also realized now they were all tall enough to see the tanks without us having to lift them. Time flies.
Afterwards I came home to shower and change and load up the car with work stuff. Took the kids to my friend's house who did me a huge favor by babysitting them in the middle of her crazy day so I could go to my work party while my husband played match 2 in this weekend's tennis tournament.
My party went great and he won his match! :)
