May be there is something there that wasn't there before

Inspiration from Cabi's last Fall/Winter catalog:

I liked the idea of dressing up cords and rugged boots with a structured jacket a crisp white shirt and pearls!

WEDNESDAY:
This week has been just insane... Wednesday started with taking kids to school then coming back for an hour then back to school to take photos of my son's play rehearsal so i can just sit back and watch the next day.
After that was volunteering for my daughter's girl scout meeting. Then dropping her off at keyboard and rushing home with my son to change him into baseball uniform and back to school to pick her up and rush to the baseball field...
My parents met me there to take my daughter and her many bags (swim and ice skating) for her activities while I stayed at the field to watch my son's game which was a big loss but he kept his positive attitude and did not break down which is what we are working on: How to handle loosing...
I was exhausted by the end of the day...

Here are some of the photos I took from their class play depicting the 'Gold Rush' Era:

Ordinary Life Does Not Interest Me

 What I wore Thursday...

Inspiration from Cabi Fall 2016:
Perfect Fall Colors and the Cabi Blouse got so many compliments...
I have to say there is something to be said about quality... It wears perfect and no wrinkles all day...
I had my own Faux Fur scarf from years ago but Cabi's version as seen above is very nice and more versatile. I just couldn't justify the purchase when I have something so similar...

The Last Hit

Tuesday's outfit was a simple Taylor Swift inspired combo:

I went with more mustard then camel colored cords as that is what I have.

Blazer - Vintage (my mom's)
Button down - H&M
Pants - Forever 21
Necklace - Cookie Lee
Purse - Anne Klein

TUESDAY:
So happy to be healthy again. Went into full workout mode kicking off the week with bootcamp on Tuesday morning. It is amazing how it takes weeks to get in shape and just days to fall out of shape. It was quite brutal to keep up but hope I will have my strength back in a few days.
So sad my son's baseball team lost at their first play off game Tue afternoon. It was bitter sweet. This was only their second loss the whole season but now it is over as it is a single elimination play off structure. My son was down that baseball season is over and wondering when he can play again and started asking if he could do 'fall ball' on top of soccer. Not sure if we'll have the capacity but we'll see. He loves too many sports and he is not the only child and there is only one of me so it is tough. Plus he has swim team 3 times a week so that does NOT help but we do not want him to drop swimming as that is what keeps him in amazing fitness level and just such a good, safe sport.
