Hard Candy

 Tuesday's bright tone outfit was inspired by a segment in November 2013 issue of People Style Watch:

 I loved this yellow and green combo and tried to create with my pieces. I so want to obtain two matching brooches to add to jacket lapels like hers...

 I have to confess I couldn't risk these gorgeous kitten heels on the playground so swapped for my taupe OTK boots instead for the park portion….

TUESDAY:
Went to the outdoor class. Except not sure how I got my schedule mixed up but I showed up at the park we are going next week! When I noticed no one from our class including our teacher who is always on time was not around I started calling and quickly realized I was at the wrong park. Thank goodness the correct park was pretty close by and back towards my mom's and my house so no big deal we made it.
After the park went to my mom's to hang out and left my daughter there to go to my Dr's appointment.
She and my stepdad picked up my son and I met them at home. They took my daughter with them cause I have another medical appt tomorrow morning. My son and I got cozy, had dinner and watched the olympics all cuddled up. It was great.

A flowy taupe tank with army green pants and brown booties and leather jacket… My tank and necklace added some funky pop of neon to this too….

MONDAY:
It was President's day so even though my husband had to work, the kids were off school. I had promised to take them to the Lego Movie so that is what we did. I have to say I truly enjoyed the movie. Everything was authentic lego pieces and I love legos so it was amazing to watch and the 3D effects were very cool.  The kids loved it as well. Pretty long movie too.
Afterwards we bought lunch and went to my Dad's house so I can help my cousin with the closet clean-up. Of course the kids caused more of a mess in the backyard at the same time so not sure how much help I was…
After we rushed home to change and go swimming only to find out it had been moved to morning and we had missed it. That sucked. So we came back home and cooked dinner. My friend came over to catch-up on our shows that we had missed over the last month….

Ah, finally caught MONDAY MINGLE

Monday Mingle is live over at Thirty Something Fashion 

SUNDAY:
Sunday was awesome. I took a much much needed spa day with the girls. The kids had spent the night at my mom's so I slept in and got ready in the morning in peace. Actually even finished a few chores.
My friend picked up all of us so we could carpool to downtown to the Hard Rock hotel for our spa appointments. We had bought the vouchers at half price on Amazon local months ago…
Two of us went first while the other two did the steam room and lounged in the relaxation room, then we went in for our treatment while the other two did the same. When we were all done we went down to the Jacuzzi for drinks and appetizers for lunch…. The hours passed by so quickly which always does when you are having fun and relaxing.
We went back up to shower and change and went to the hotel's sushi restaurant for more drinks and dinner before heading home…
Witnessed some interesting transaction between business people and couple of young ladies. A lot of theories arouse from that…
It was such a fun night….
