Come right up close to me and I will show you something wonderful

What I wore Friday night as my daughter and I went to a play at night...

A bit matchy matchy but still cute and get to use this skirt I have worn very few times...

 Cardigan - J Crew
Tee, Belt- Tj Maxx
Skirt - Kika Paprika
Sandals - Victoria's Secret
Sunglasses - Ray Ban
Necklaces - Baublebar & J Crew Factory

FRIDAY:
It has been crazy warm here in So. Cal in the 90s! So since the school was out for Veteran's day on Friday we took the kids to the beach... And these crazy kids went into the icy cold waters and had a blast...

After resting a bit and showering and changing at home, I took my sunshine girl to see a Jr. Theater production of James and the Giant Peach (a Roald Dahl book she has read last year)....
It is always a pleasure to watch such young talent on stage and very inspiration for my little actress...

Welcome to Munchkinland

Jacket - Gap
Tee - J Crew
Shorts - Ann Taylor
Sandals - Steve Madden
Necklace - Bauble Bar
Sunglasses - House of Harlow

WEDNESDAY:
My little princess had her final performance as a 'Munchkin' in the school play: 'Wizard of Oz' yesterday afternoon. Almost the whole family was there to see her perform.
She loved every part of the whole process. We will definitely be looking into further acting lessons in the near future.

Could you believe between both of our's crazy closets my sister and I wore the same tee. In my defense she bought this shirt for me as a present so I thought it would be a nice gesture to wear it on a day she was going to see me! :)

Shopping for the Perfect Dress

Monday's outfit for running errands and shopping….
Inspiration from Pinterest:

Shirt, Pants, Shoes - J Crew
Necklace - Bauble Bar

MONDAY:
Volunteered in my daughter's class for the first time. Lots of kids I don't know and it is going to take me a while to learn their names and get to know them.
Afterwards it was raining hard so no work out and met my sister in the mall right away.
My husband and I have a big Gala to attend this Saturday and it is a black tie event. Oddly I do not have black tie dresses! I realized how much I hate hate hate shopping for a specific thing. It really takes the joy out of shopping and you never ever find the perfect thing.
I did find two very dressy dresses but they are not floor length.
I was in search the next day and now am awaiting to barrow form some people to see if their dresses could work.
There are bags and boxes of items in my room with receipts as I don't know which combination I am going to go with. Such a big effort.

Hold your breath, it gets better

Tuesday's outfit was inspired by a blogger I admire a lot for her great sense of style,
I liked this idea of combining bright coral with stark white and anchoring it with dark tights and boots….

Got lots of compliments for this striking necklace….

Sweater - Forever 21
Skirt - Zara

Live by the sun

This yellow and black combo was inspired by a new blog I had visited a few months ago called

I liked the simple color combo with pop of red on the purse and the gold metallic heels….

For my crazy days with the kids though I couldn't pull of those wedges… For an indoor class for example I could wear them but not for an outdoor class with far away bathrooms etc…

Necklace, rings - Bauble Bar
Sweater - Lithon (Nordstrom's)
White Top - Topshop
Pants - J Crew
Wedges - Dolce Vita for Target
Flats - Dolce Vita
Bracelets - C Wonder

TUESDAY:
Helped out a friend in the morning who had a Dr appointment by dropping off her kid at her preschool which is very close to my son's school. Then went to the outdoor class with my daughter. The weather was gorgeous and the park was right on the bay so very uplifting.
Afterwards we went to the indoor play area so I can catch up on stuff and also book my hotel for our upcoming trip to Boston… We then picked up my son and came home for homework and dinner. Since we are doing the nutrition I don't only cook dinner at night but also try to prepare lunches and snacks for the next day so it takes quite  long time and creates lots of dishes to clean up after… At least the kids are totally digging the healthy dinners. Grilled Halibut tacos, roasted new potatoes with baked chicken etc…
And then after they go to bed we do our workout. Tuesday night was Speed!
