Hey Bartender

What I wore to our Holiday Party Saturday night...
The theme was 'ugly sweater' or 'festive holiday wear'....
So I combined the festive wear with a fun headband....

Tank, Headband, Necklace  - Forever 21
Sequin Leggings - H&M
Heels - Shoedazzle

SATURDAY:
My sister came to rescue during the day to help me prepare... Let me tell you preping the base for these cocktails took us close to 3 hours. It was look cooking...
Then another 30 minutes doing the last minute mix and pour right before the party...
The end result was worth it...
People always come anticipating the craft cocktails and love trying them out...
My favorite  thing to prep....

We had over 100 people! Half kids half adults... It does get quite out of hand especially due to rowdy boys... Next year we might switch to an all adult party...

Below is all the Turkish Ladies that were at the party...

An American Girl

My outfit Sunday as we drove to LA with my daughter and friend to 'The Grove' shopping mall to spend her friend's birthday at the American Girl Doll Store in that mall...

This boho dress was a steal at Francesca's during Black Friday sale... at 50% off...

 Dress, Necklace, Headband - Francesca's
Boots - Madden Girl

SUNDAY:
Wow, what a heavenly mall is 'The Grove'... Have to go there with my sis and mom one time and just shop all day. Even though it has the same stores we do the merchandise seems all nicer and cooler and the mall is just so pretty and relaxing and upscale... Loved it...

Then we went in the giant American Girl Doll store... And my daughter was in heaven...
Every historical doll had its own room like a museum depicting their story. There is a spa and salon for the dolls. My daughter got a braid done for her doll and a whole design your own segment... They really know how to get you. And the prices are just crazy!

The cafe was spectacular as well. They have high chairs for your doll and the waiters cater to the little girls and their dolls like royalty...

Ivy and Bean

My outfit Sunday taking my daughter to a Children's play with my friends…

Inspired by this magazine photo:

I liked the idea of combining a lacey vintage blouse with flared jeans and booties….
I added a headband t o complete the bohemian look….

Blouse - H&M
Jeans - Ann Taylor Loft
Belt - J Crew
Booties - Betsey Johnson
Headband - Francesca's

SUNDAY:
Took our three daughters to the play inspired by the wonderful book series called 'Ivy and Bean'…
I had read these books to my daughter couple years ago and we both fell in love with them.
Have I mentioned my love of reading now expands to reading to my kids. I do extensive research on up and coming children's author's and award winning books that are recent as well as classics. Some I have read as a kid my self but most I have not and I truly enjoy. At any given time I have at least 4 books I am reading consecutively. One for my self.  Second for my daughter, Third to my son and fourth the book we listen to on tape in the car…
WE LOVE BOOKS… :)
