 What I wore to our Holiday Party Saturday night...

The theme was 'ugly sweater' or 'festive holiday wear'....

So I combined the festive wear with a fun headband....

SATURDAY:
My sister came to rescue during the day to help me prepare... Let me tell you preping the base for these cocktails took us close to 3 hours. It was look cooking...
Then another 30 minutes doing the last minute mix and pour right before the party...
The end result was worth it...
People always come anticipating the craft cocktails and love trying them out...
My favorite  thing to prep....

We had over 100 people! Half kids half adults... It does get quite out of hand especially due to rowdy boys... Next year we might switch to an all adult party...

SATURDAY NIGHT PARTY:
We hosted a mega ugly sweater potluck Holiday Party at our house Saturday night.
We host a holiday party every year the weekend before Christmas but this year it was a new theme. The colors were so festive. The numbers are always crazy and the house gets trashed but everyone has a great time and I just love having everyone over despite the work…
And I get to try out new cocktail recipes every year….

Candy Cane Martini… Can't have a holiday party without these. They look so pretty….

Safe bet - PMS which is made with Pineapple Juice, Malibu Rum and Stole Vodka….

After the kids trashed upstairs and were banned from there by my husband and at the same moment it started pouring outside we turned on "Home Alone" to keep the kids occupied after 8 PM...

And this was the group left after all the kids left and our kids went to bed and we played a few rounds of Catch Phrase...

What I wore Saturday night to my husband's Company Holiday Party….

 My husband tells me the night before that the party has a Lion King/Safari theme. It was too late to change what I planned to wear. But my sister had forgotten her animal print coat at my house so added that on top and my huge leopard ring for touches of the theme…
