Little Grad

Friday's outfit was inspired by this pinterest look:
I loved the idea of combining black and white gingham with army green cargo pants…

I knew I would be walking around so went with my flats instead but these pointy toe flats give the look of heels and always make a big statement…

Blouse - Ralph Lauren
Pants - J Crew
Flats - Zara
Necklace - Forever 21

FRIDAY:
Big day for my little princess who had her Kindergarten promotion. My son had his class Lauau party as well but it was at the same time so I missed it. :(

End of an era

Saturday day outfit was inspired by this photo which I think was from Forever 21 website:

I wanted an outfit that was cozy and layered as the day started very early and I am cold at those hours...

SATURDAY:
What a crazy day to start off the crazy weekend.
Woke up super early and got myself and my daughter ready for her Pre School Graduation and talent show. We had signed up for 'set-up' duty so went early to help out.
She looked gorgeous in her 'Elsa' dress and hair….ready to sing the 'Let It Go' song for the talent show… Among many girls who sang either the same song or other songs from the movie but I have to say when she started singing there was not a single noise from the audience. Even the little children hushed to listen to her acapella singing….
It was a tough day for me as I have been in this program for 5 years now and next week would be my last week being with these teachers and the parents that have become part of my life and family.

WIth my gorgeous mom!

Graduation

Today's outfit was from a very old inspiration back from Sept 2011 issue of In Style....

This is more of a work/office outfit but since I do not have an office job I figured why not. It was conservative yet chic perfect for my little man's Kindergarten graduation!

Got lots of compliments on my necklace (Christmas gift from my husband)...

This khaki pencil skirt is so old but timeless. It is lined and stretchy so very easy to wear...

Sweater - Forever 21

TODAY:
Big day today for my son... Took him to school then came home and tried to finish again all the piled up laundry that I didn't do this weekend. My mom and Dad met me at home and we went early afternoon to my son's school to watch his Kindergarten graduation ceremony. My brother and his family and hubby met us there. He was probably the only kid with the most family members present at his ceremony. They sang 6 cutest songs and then their names were called out as they gave their teacher a hug and officially became ready for 1st grade!
I can't believe how fast time goes by.

With the girl he likes in his class...

With his teacher who we'll miss so much...

Members of the family that were able to come to celebrate...
