Time to shine

Today's outfit (OMG I am caught up!!!!) was inspired by a look in F21 website...

I don't have sequin leggings but thought I could create the effect with the bronze metallic jeans.
The combo came out quite nice actually...

I actually took two coats with me. I liked the outfit with the black vintage patent coat more but next to the ice rink I needed a thicker one so used my grey down parka then…

Black Jacket - Vintage
Grey Parka - Guess

Pants, Beret - Forever 21

THURSDAY:
Well it is the last week before our Vegas vacation. I have managed to schedule 3 workouts mixed in with all the beauty appointments and packing and getting kids ready…
Let me tell you the amount of coordination and planning it takes to leave children behind is mind boggling. I think my instructions for the grandparents are taking over 3 pages!
I got a spray tan yesterday so today was my don't do much day where I spent it with planning the kid items and my packing list…

Vegas here we go…

Night Outfits:

Pool Outfits:
Notice how different each swim ensemble is. One is more of a glam style the other more young and fun… Hence the need for two hats and flip flops...You know me I love the variety...

To Be Happy

Monday's outfit was inspired by this pinterest look:

Camo with army green utility pants and a denim jacket tied at waist made chic looking with nude dainty sandals…
I also added a necklace...

Tee - H&M
Pants - J Crew
Necklace - Not sure…
Sandals - Nine West
Denim Jacket - Vintage

MONDAY:
It was my baby's actual b-day…
He went to school as usual but I worked hard to squeeze in baking a cake even though he is not into sugar figured he should have a real cake and make a real wish...

TUESDAY:
Took my son to Aquatica (Sea World's water park) with my friend and his son. We were pregnant with our boys at the same time with due days one day apart! My son came 3 weeks early but we spent so much time during that first year and the 7 years that followed. What a great way to spend his b-day with  a buddy he was friends since infancy…

FRIDAY:
My daughter had her first dress rehearsal for her upcoming ice skating show...
After which we drove direct to LA that night…

SATURDAY:
We spent the day north of LA visiting my in laws and watching my father in law performing in his spring concert… And drove back Saturday night…

SUNDAY:
Was the big day… Had my son's Flag Football and Soccer Game Birthday Party…
I hand painted 22 shirts with numbers and kids initials to create jersey's for each team…

My son invited 22 kids but of course most of those kids older and younger siblings and parents. So the guest list was nearing 60s… We snuck in the High School football field and had them use half the field for football and half for soccer. My son hand picked sports lover kids of all ages and genders and sure enough these kids never got tired of playing even though the coach dads were dying.
Every half time they would come to the snack table and just devour the food.
We had subway sandwiches at the end and then instead of a cake had a snow cone truck come which was just such a big hit with the kids…
