Pretty top and a pretty lighthouse

I am participating in
Visual FBFF
(Fashion Beauty Friend Friday group is created by Katy at Modly Chic
We're doing an upclose and personal look at a favorite clothing item.

So I wore this top to feature its lovely details. Found this at a street bazaar in Turkey (Alacati). I just fell in love with not only the cut but also the tie die minty pastel colors and all the stitching details...

Layered stone necklaces in mint green and purple....
These don't really go but I needed comfy shoes...

Wearing the cat eye sunglasses again today. Since they were mint green couldn't resist...

Some shots by the lighthouse...

Before I move onto today here are a few photos from our Bingo play last night:

We took the kids to the old Lighthouse today at a neighborhood cold Point Loma. This is actually the spot my husband and I got married at! It was the first time I was going back since our wedding in 2005!
It was the perfect spot because I am obsessed with lighthouses which all started with a book called 'Ahab's Wife' and trip to Maine which is also where my husband proposed!
Kids loved climbing the little house and seeing its rooms. Such a cute place. My dad came with us as well and kids loved having him all to themselves.
Enjoy the photos...

Floor plan:
Downstairs has the living room and kitchen/dining room. Upstairs is a master bedroom and a kids' room. No toilets or showers!

Spiral Staircase:

Beautiful views all around...

My crazy daughter with my Dad:

And this is the new lighthouse way down below...

TONIGHT we are going to meet friends to have a picnic dinner in the park and then watch a movie in the park. The movie is 'Tangled'. Packed PJs and sleeping bags so lets see how long kids last past their bedtime...

Ed Hardy

My outfit later part of the day today. I initially had a whole other outfit in mind with these red capri's but when I tried it on I realized the top was too crop against the low rider pants and it was so frustrating cause then I had to pick something else with kids all around my legs. Even with an outfit list it is not easy to just pick something in a rush it seems. Finally settled on this since I already had the pants on and I knew I had trie don this combo when I bought this tee and jacket.
I know Ed Hardy designs are everywhere and kind of common now but I still love it. The girl graphic on this tee was so pretty and I liked the long tunic length and 3/4 sleeve cut of the tee.
The mustard jacket was such a cool find. I initially purchased it also in hot pink but realized that was too much of a purchase and returned it. I plan to get a lot of use out of this jacket during fall as well. Both were purchased like 5 months ago at TJ Maxx.
Quite the bright colors when paired with red, right?
 My Chloe purse.
Seem to wearing these spikey bracelets all the time now.
The huge frog ring my mom bought for me cause I was looking for one. My gold over black nail polish is totally coming off but did not have time to take it off yet.
These were the best purchase from F21. They looks so cool under anything and also with ankle socks!

Jacket - Talie (TJ Maxx)
Tee - Ed Hardy (TJ Maxx)
Pants, bracelets, Shoes - Forever 21
Earings - Thread Show
Watch - Michael Kors
Purse - Chloe

TODAY: Took it easy and went to Kid Ventures (indoor play area) so I can catch up on email and continue my job search. I am so happy once again my son ate half of a huge turkey avacado in a crossiant sandwich instead of the stupid pizza bites kid's meal.
After naps we went to a free and open hip hop class that was for ages 4-8. It is between sessions and the company is promoting the classes and also training the teachers. The class had almost 20 kids and my son was in the front row the entire time, his own choice. He couldn't follow most of the moves as they were too advanced but he did watch and pay attention very intenty. The 55 minute class wiped him out. They had leftover for dinner when we got home and I am soon leaving to go out with the girls. We are doing dinner and a free bingo at a new boutique hotel that opened up. I love when we do free stuff!

Striped Maxi

Today's outfit to a playground and pool outing.

The inspiration was from the following J Crew catalog photo:
This was actually the cover of their catalog...

I just used my maxi dress that looks very similar. I liked the idea of adding a green belt and peach/coral colored necklaces...This is what I like about J Crew. Besides the great clothes they sell which are usually over my budget they put together amazing color combinations together. And I love using these as inspiration with stuff I already own...

I layered 3 separate necklaces here and 2 of them are layered items in themselves. Result = a lot of layers...
The hat was my idea. Felt like I needed to add a hat. I got these funky cat eye like sunglasses from Anhtropologie.

Striped Maxi Dress - Marshall's
Belt, Hat & Necklaces - Forever 21
Flip flops - Target
Sunglasses - Anthropologie

TODAY: We went to the public pool today that has super cool play structures. It is the same pool we went with preschool class during summer session. Wanted to re-visit again before the end of the summer. Met up with two other friends at a nearby playground first since the pool does not open until noon. Kids had fun.
Of course came home pretty late and naps and wake up time was late as well. After dinner and baths, I left the kids with my husband to meet the car sales lady so she can show me all the ins and outs of my new car. I so am enjoying to automatic sliding doors and the ample storage inside the car for everyone. Kids love having a console between them that has cup holders for their drinks and snacks.
Here are some more complete photos of the new car!
