The Panther

Got too tired again last night to post so here is yesterday's outfit.... Inspired by this tiny photo:

I first put on my white fedora like the inspiration photo but it just didn't look right for some reason. So instead wore this white lace baseball cap and I think it is more on trend this way...

This tee is a bit much so it was more contained under the jacket...
I do love this simple thin cuff necklace though. Especially with sporty outfits and graphic tee's it adds the perfect edge/glam combo.

Blazer - Gap
Top, Necklace, Tee, hat - Forever 21
Shoes - Enzo

YESTERDAY:
I always start these re-caps with 'it was a crazy day' cause it seems to be always the case and yesterday was no exception. We went to the indoor class and there I took over my friend's two little ones as she has a family situation. After school I took all 3 to pick up my son. So after that with 4 of them we came home. I served them lunch and luckily all the kids were good eaters so that helped. Then the boys went up to play. My little princess hung solo and I put the little princess to nap after a bit of rocking.
In the afternoon it was cookies and fruit for snack than their mom came to pick them up and we rushed to swim class. During swim class I ordered the take out Greek food and got those kids showered and dressed out of there in 8 minutes which I think is record breaking. After picking up dinner we went to my friend's house and my hubby met us there so we can have a family dinner with them and celebrate their new baby. It was a bit tough getting the kids to get out of there and come home after a short visit but we managed. Then it was another psycho insanity tape at home! You can imagine how tired I felt afterwards and yet I never seem to want to go bed at nights. If only I felt that way in the morning. It is just brutal in the mornings...

Here is a photo from Preschool where my daughter and her friends wore these fluffy masks:
[my daughter is at the right end in mint pants]

And here are couple photos from our visit to my friend's house for dinner....

Since they live 30 minutes away, I always take PJ's and toothbrushes with me and get them totally ready for bed before leaving their house. In case they fall a sleep but we were not so lucky last night....

Rain or Shine

Sorry, I keep running out of steam every other night and doing two outfit posts... You can blame the 'insanity' work outs...
This was yesterday's outfit to field trip to Legoland in tropical downpour....

Inspiration J Crew's March 2013 issue:

Took the idea of pairing bold striped top with lavender jeans, jeweled collar and a baseball cap.
It was too cold for just the top so I added a button down under it.

My new baubles from Bauble Bar (just love these. They are so chunky)

Top - Stylemint
Blouse, Hat, Jeans - Forever 21
Necklaces - Bauble Bar
Boots - Steve Madden

MONDAY:
So after the hot 90s weather on Friday the weekend was cold and Monday it was raining. Our field trip with my daughter's school was 'rain or shine' though so we went anyway. We only got rained out for an hour during lunch and otherwise it was fine. The good thing was it wasn't really cold.
My Dad came with us and I took my son out of school so he was over the moon.
Dad took all the photos at the park and has not shared them so I only have this group photo we took before we left:

TUESDAY's OUTFIT
I like wearing certain pieces in the same week before washing/ironing them so this shirt was the one this week....

The inspiration was from People Style Watch's March 2013 issue:

I first thought I would wear this with my black leather vest but it was too fitted and cropped over the oversize blouse that it didn't work. This vest was more the cut I was looking for even though it wasn't the right color/material I think it still worked...

Necklace, bracelets - Bauble Bar, cookie lee, michael kors
Vest, blouse, pants - Forever 21
Boots - Steve Madden

TODAY:
Went to the outdoor class even though it was raining a bit and chilly but the sun did come out and it was great for the kids to get fresh air. Then went to the indoor play area so I can catch up on all my party planning coming up next month. Then picked up my son and came home and tried to nap with not much success. The kids made me 'mother's day' cards from toilet paper rolls! But they were so excited about them. It was all their idea.
The Insanity workouts are brutal but I can finally see the outline of two vertical ab muscles that are starting to form. Yeay! Tonight's tape was 'pure cardio' which has a 20 minute segment of non stop high impact cardio with no breaks. I can't even describe the heat and sweat that comes out. My hair is taking a toll. Lets see how it looks tomorrow....

The pose above was really this before I tried to crop... The kids were doing scooter races before we left....

Painting Rocks

Today's outfit to take the kids to Turkish School. Then the weather went haywire so we stayed home...
The inspiration was again from Bloomingdale's catalog....

 Jacket & Jeans - Forever 21
Tee - Disney
Fashion Sneakers - Steve Madden
Necklace - Kate Young for Target

TODAY:
Said good-bye to my in-laws who were visiting this weekend and took the kids to Turkish School. The 90+ weather from Friday has turned into cold and rainy over here and it sucks. After school we came home and stayed in for the afternoon doing chores around the house and also started a rock painting project with the kids....

YESTERDAY (SATURDAY)'s OUTFIT

This was inspired by J Crew catalog:

 Sweater - Victoria's Secret
Blouse - very old
Jeans - F21
Necklace - Bauble Bar
Sneakers - Steve Madden

SATURDAY:
Our morning was busy with breakfast, acting classes and my son's baseball game followed by lunch. I had to take a nap in the afternoon to recover. My 1st week of Insanity workout is done and I am happy to confess I didn't miss a day and kept up with the nutrition plan too. Our fridge has never been fuller and I am cooking or prepping non stop but eating such good foods that it is worth it. Our kids eat pretty healthy already but with this much food at hand they are snacking on cucumbers and carrots and eating fruit as dessert....

Here are the kids with their grandparents...
