See the light

Today's combo was inspired by a look on Nordstrom's Website:

This just gave me the idea of pairing my white stilettos with the Peter Pilotto sweatshirt. Came out pretty nice I think...

I was trying to post without sunglasses but it was just a tad too light so looks like I am frowning in most of the photos...

Sweatshirt - Peter Pilotto for Target
Jeans - H&M
Heels - Nine West (thrifted)

TODAY:
Got up early and did the ab workout of the 'Brazilian Butt Lift' program. The ab workout was not as bad as the butt one thank goodness. Showered and got dressed and had a nice breakfast and did some legos with my princess. Then we went to Nordstrom Rack to pick up my hubby's pants from alteration and do a return. Then to Target to find a long sleeve top for my son to wear under his baseball jersey but of course it is summer and they did not have a single top that was long sleeve. Found a 3/4 sleeve but bigger than his size so lets see how it is going to work out.
He has 4 games this weekend and if they win more games on Monday. That is going to be more Baseball than I have watched in my entire life!
He is so excited though to be all star that makes us all excited.
After our errands we picked up my son and then went to swim practice in the afternoon.
I showered and got him dressed and dropped him off at his playdate with 3 of his buddies watching a movie. He was so looking forward to it.

Just for Frills

Today's combo was inspired by Who What Wear site look I had saved from a while back:

Then today I saw another look from the same site that channeled the same vibe:

I like the bohemian feel this outfit gave once put together...

My mom got me this purse as a diaper bag from a thrift store. It was actually too large to use for that but I have been using for an overnight stay bag or when we do spa day with the girls it is perfect to load up everything and still look chic.

Hat - Asos
Blouse, Jeans - H&M
Booties - Betsey Johnson
Purse - can't remember the brand
Necklace - very old can't remember where this is from either…

TODAY:
A bit slower day today thank goodness. Went to my daughter's ballet class and got to sit and watch her today as once a semester they let parents observe.
Then we stopped at home to clean up and then went to the indoor play area which is closing end of this month, so she can play and I can catch up.
Then it was picking up my son coming home to change and off to register my daughter for soccer for Fall. Yes, they want us to register this early and it had to be in person for some odd reason couldn't be done online!
My stepdad took my son to his 2nd baseball practice of the week and brought him back just in time for dinner.
AFter dinner did the 'thigh and high' sculpting workout of the 'Brazilian Butt Lift'. And…
OMG,… OMG….OMG… it was excruciatingly painful. If you watch the video you would think nothing is being worked as the moves are tiny. But using a rubber band and my gosh it works this tiny tiny muscles that make up our derrière. I am the queen of squats and leg lifts but these moves were something else.  I wanted to cry.
I am not sure how I am going to feel tomorrow!

The world is on my side

Today's combo was inspired by a Forever 21 look:

And can you believe it I JUST realized this combo used black pants NOT blue jeans!? Oh well, I think my blue jeans looks good too. And I added the animal print belt…

Jacket, Jeans - Forever 21
Blouse - H&M
Necklace, rings - Bauble Bar
Booties - Shoedazzle
Sunglasses - Wild Fox

TODAY:
Well as promised today was an epic example of a jam packed day!
Started the morning with an early infusion appointment. Followed by another Dr appointment (annual) then had just enough time to get my nails done and the acrylics taken out. Then it was rushing home for a very quick lunch and picking up my daughter from my parents. Then we went and picked up my son and met my husband at the post office for our passport appointment.
Oh my goodness…. Seriously? Do the people at the post office get training on how to be slow? I mean it was mine boggling. I was about the pull my hair and trying not to show it but they were killing me. Making one photocopy would take 10 minutes. Checking the names on the forms took eternity as he adjusted his glasses with every letter it seemed. Then don't even get me started on taking the photos.
The kids were beyond bored and of course had to use the bathroom which they didn't have any then they were hungary then they were thirsty. So glad that is over with!
I am not sure if this appointment was worse or the first time we got their passports when they were babies.
After that we amazingly made it on time to my son's haircut appointment. Which surprisingly ended early so we stopped for ice cream only to get a call that I left the shampoo I paid for at the store so we tracked back to get that.
Then it was to swimming. My daughter took classes back to back so she made up the class she missed. While I made 4 phone calls re-scheduling dentist and Dr. appointments that were conflicts on the calendar.
When both kids were swimming ran and got dinner from Rubios then quickly showered them there and dressed and met my friend and her family at the beach to do her pregnancy family photo shoot.
The kids ate their food fighting the seagulls. And as luck would have it the sun kept hiding behind some dark clouds but I think some of the photos came out really good..

Of course still had to come home unload bags of wet clothes and left over dinner containers and for my self endless number of water bottles then the kids had to be changed and put to bed, my daughter needed a second shower after all that sand playing. And somehow I still had the courage and energy to clean the kitchen do 2 loads of laundry and do a brazilian butt lift workout!

Here are some of the cool photos from the shoot:

CALL ME

Today's outfit was from a very old inspiration back in March 2012 from a Limited Ad:

I think it is still current enough to wear… It was chilly though so I sub'd capri's instead of white shorts….

This adorable pouch was a mother's day gift from my lil sis…. She hand picked the sayings on it as well as each one was slightly different...

 Trench, Capri's - Forever 21
Top - Old Navy
Sneakers - Superga
Sunglasses - Betsey Johnson
Purse - Kate Spade

TODAY:
It was a crazy day. Went to the outdoor class then stopped at Target for returns and purchasing booster seats then made it in time to the carwash as my car was disgustingly dirty. Then direct to my son's school to pick him. We had hardly any time at home to change them and empty the car and switch the laundry load then my step dad came to take my son to his all star baseball practice and I took my daughter to her make-up swim lesson. When we got home again it was a mad rush to get her showered and dressed and packed. Then cooked dinner. My son came home and my stepdad took my daughter to my parents house. I showered him and gave him dinner while skyping with my brother.
Then it was time for bedtime reading. My hubby took over towards the end and I started my new brazilian butt lift workout. It was cardio today and more dancing but amazing how much I sweated and could totally feel my abs working over time. Love it so far.
If I thought today was crazy I don't know what tomorrow is going to feel like. I am booked back to back with insaneness...
