Sporty

Last photo shoot with my old camera… The posts after this will be with the new camera but still have to figure out some settings…
This all white with some light grey outfit was inspired but this photo from Who What Wear site:

I switched up grey top with the jacket instead and this sporty Nike Jacket I found at TJ Maxx was perfect for the outfit…

Jacket - Nike
Hat - Forever 21
Tee - Zara
Jeans - Victoria's Secret or Forever 21 (can't remember)
Sneakers - hi-top converses

WED & THU:
The days a bit blurred as I pout my self over organizing closets and rooms. I of course created an excel spreadsheet to list what area I plan to clean/organize on what day.
Keeps me motivated trying to stay on schedule but every aspect takes a bit longer than anticipated and a bit more overwhelming that I envisioned.
But, it is such a high for me to when one area is finished and it looks all clean and orderly. I know so weird right? :)
The afternoons are mixed with soccer practices and dance classes and we haven't even started swim practices yet…
Some mornings or mid day I do get to meet a friend here and there and that creates a nice break.

1st Day of School

What I wore for the kids' first day of school on Tuesday….

The inspiration was from:

 These photos are pretty blurry.
I can't wait to switch to the new camera my husband got for my birthday. I just need to spend sometime learning its features and most excited about setting up the wireless remote control.
 Jacket - TJ Maxx
Tee - Topshop (from the Bazaar in Turkey)
Pants, sandals - J Crew
Sunglasses - Ray Ban

TUESDAY:
It was an exciting morning. My daughter's first day of Kindergarten and son's 1st day of 2nd grade.
I prepared as much as I can the night before and went to bed early so we can get up early and get ready.
We had sufficient amount of time to take photos and go to school and take a couple more before the gates opened. Then though it was pretty short timeframe cause we wanted to go both of their classes and meet the teachers and it is not easy when there is two kids. We barely had time to check in my poor daughter and she was right at home as she got my son's old kindergarten teacher.
Everyday now she asks what we are doing today and I keep telling her, everyday now you go to school until the weekend!
She loves it so far though. :)

Lazy Labor Day

In front of our new arches on Monday (Labor Day)….

Nothing too elaborate just a simple outfit for a day by the pool and BBQ dinner with our good friends.

Scarf - Kika Paprika
Tank - Forever 21
Shorts - H&M
Espadrilles - C Wonder

MONDAY:
Had a great labor day catching up with our group after our trip. Initially we were going to host but given the condition our house is in we were the last people to host so our friends jumped in and as the kids swam their hearts out and played we chatted over white wine and a delicious BBQ of slow smoked ribs and blue cheese stuffed hamburgers.
Left early enough to come home in time for showers and getting ready for the big day coming up:
1st DAY OF SCHOOL!

Too lazy and enjoying myself to take photos so just took these random ones….

EXACTA

Created an interesting combo using the new skirt I got in Turkey and athletic sneakers…
Not my favorite but kind of cool I guess?

Jacket - Nike
Tank - Forever 21
Skirt - Twist (from Turkey)
Sneakers - Nike
Necklace - Cookie Lee
Sunglasses - Betsey Johnson

SUNDAY:
Spent the morning again trying to get a handle on the closet/shoe project I started.
I realized the only way I am going to fit in my closet is by moving seasonal items to another closet. Granted we live southern CA so seasons are not clear cut. But there are definitely a few months where we don't wear shorts and sandals (at least I don't, true natives wear them year round) and there are definitely months of no sweaters and boots. So by just swapping those clothing items and shoes there is hope for me.

In the afternoon went to the races with my girls and then stopped by the free concert that followed it but were too hungry to stick around so went out to eat instead…..
