The Philly Adventure

I am back. I have sooo much catching up to do at home and on the blog world so you will have to bear with me.
But wanted to do a quick post as I was able to upload the photos I took on a cheap disposable camera while I was detained in Philadelphia earlier last week before our vacation....

A lot of carriage tours take place within the historical area...
They are doing renovations on the Independence Hall that housed the famous 'Liberty Bell' in its tower...
This is the pancho sweater I bought from Old Navy and the flared jeans and a thermal navy blue top...

Here is the back of the famous Liberty Bell. The front was too busy and I didn't feel like waiting...

'The Signer' Statue...

The 'Bank' Building...

The Courthouse

The Messner House

My Savior - The U.S. Custom House where I renewed my passport within the same day!

Fall Trees

My Hotel - Historical Landmark

Penn's Landing

The Bell Tower from another angle...

Historical Sites...

I walked many blocks to find this alley...

The entire alley consists of historical (original) residential houses!

Will post a couple Vacation outfits tonight and some vacation photos...

Welcome to My Closet – Shiny Metallics & Electric Blue

Today is the last day of my scheduled posts. As this is published we should be on a plane back home from our big Jamaica vacation!

Starting today's post with
'Electric Blues'...

This short sleeve jacket was a maternity purchase if you can believe it from CLOSET 4.5 years ago...

These STEVEN by Steve Madden heels are really more of a navy blue electric blue combo. Again a very old purchase that I seem to wear at least once or twice every year since their purchase...
Here you can see the heels with also the electric blue Arden B tank and a navy sweater and my gold and blue necklace:

These skinny jeans are a new purchase from Forever 21. I only wore them once but will also be wearing them today actually on the flight back home!

There are also the blue nylon leggings in the group photo. Those are a b-day present from sister from Romwe. I have cool ideas for them for this season. The bangles and the stone necklace in the group photo are Arden B.

And now...
SHINY METALLICS
These are my golden, silver and bronze mettalics and sequins... I forgot a few items in the group shot but have some outfit photos to showcase them down below...

This sequin covered tank is a Charlotte Russe purchase. I love dressing this down for day time...

This crop one with a longer front than the back is a Forever 21 purchase. It is very light and looks great on high waist pieces...

This silver metallic hoodie is from bebe sport. I bought it match silver striped leggings long long time ago...

This tiny sequin covered navy tank add just the right amount of bling to my outfits... Another Charlotte Russe purchase for $13.

This silver striped tank over grey is very light. I can't remember now where it is from!

This Tucker crop jacket was a beautiful find at Nordstrom Rack years ago. I just knew it was staple item...

These bronze Guess wedges are also very old...

These Dolce Vita gold wedges are from Target. I love that the cork has golden speckles on it...

These Kate Spade sequined ballet flats I feel like were more of slippers which explained their low price. They are so cute though...

These Laundry Silver sandals look so sexy on. I couldn't find an outfit with them though...

The mini golden purse is Ralph Lauren (from Nordstrom Rack). The flats are Dolce Vita and the sashes are very old Forever 21 purchases...
Here is one of the sashes tied as a belt...and shows the bronze wedges and the gold jacket too...

The bronze purse is Hype and super old. The belt is relatively new from H&M and you always see me use it for gucci color block inspired outfits...

The sequin fedora was a vendor purchase on all girls Temecula Valley wine tasting trip last March.
The silver real leather clutch is Victoria's Secret purchase. The Sash is Forever 21...

The necklace is Forever 21. The headbands are very old. The rings are from Turkey and Thread Show and the old Maybeline metallic foil nail polish.

And here are some more metallics that I discovered as I was looking through my outfit photos...

Silver metallic threaded scarf....

Golden dress is a thrift find by mom I think...

Tucker skirt with golden thread over Navy from Target....

These rose silk flip flops were so cute. BCBG I think...

These are Chinese Laundry golden thongs...

Silver studded belt from Target...

Well that is it.
Hope you enjoyed the 'Welcome to my Closet' series... Initially I was going to show only the clothes but then thought outfit photos with the items would be so much cooler. But it was quite an effort.

Hope to get back to all your blogs this coming week as we get settled and catch-up...
