It's Pumpkin Time

 I must have tried on 10 different aztec print wraps and cardigans before settling on this one. Some looked like I literally wrapped a blanket around myself, some looked so frumpy. This was just the right amount of floatieness without being too baggy or bulky….

MONDAY:
It took my group forever to find a common date we can take the kids to the pumpkin patch. At the end some of us had to miss some sort of an activity to make it. So we ditched swimming and picked Monday to meet up after school.
We have been going every year and who knows may be this was the last. The boys are getting too big for it. ONe thing that is nice though is we give them their tickets and they go around by themselves now. Of course they were too tall for the swings and we had to help them fit in… :)

 Reminded me I could wear my old romper just plain with no frills but I added the uber bright slides for some pop and some earrings…

SUNDAY:
Had a bit of a mishap saturday after the kids soccer games when I locked my keys inside my mini van.
Thank goodness one of the other dad's hadn't left yet and he gave us a ride home and we left the car there.
I just didn't have it in me to call and wait for AAA.
So Sunday morning we had to go get the car but that gave us an excuse to have a family lunch out.
Met up at my daughter's friend's birthday party after my son's baseball game…

FRIDAY:
Crazy day running around. In the afternoon my son went to an evening birthday party and I took my daughter to my mom's to spend the night before going to my book club gathering.
We had a late late night talking and having fun.
The book we just finished 'All the light we cannot see' by Anthony Doerr. Pulitzer prize and yes beautiful writing but the story did not captivate me.
We are going to read Orphan Train next...

Oh, what made the meeting even sweeter was these gorgeous and yummy apple pie roses my friend made for dessert!
