Take another sip!

My Mother's Day outfit inspired by this blogger post (I couldn't find the url of her website as this photo was saved from a long time ago): 

I always save my a bit more 'out there' outfits to wear with my mom and sister as they are the boldest dressers in my circle... :)

An amazing Mother's Day waking up to my beautiful babies and their hand made gifts and cards, followed up by a whole day of shopping, canvas painting and dinner and laughs with my gorgeous mom and little sister....

Here we are after stopping two poor young women who were out for a walk for this photo...
Carrying a cooler on wheels that contained all our wine and snacks for the canvas painting activity...

During the whole painting process the instructor kept telling us to 'take another sip' of our drink so we wouldn't obsess about our paintings! :)

FRIDAY:
It was a crazy day of leaving the house at 7 AM for buying breakfast for teacher appreciation week, followed by gate duty at school under pouring rain (thank goodness for the hat), volunteering at class then in art room, running to my infusion appointment, stopping at home for 30 minutes for lunch then picking up the kids and bringing them home for a playdate with friends then gymnastics then back at home again for dinner and a last minute invite to the newlywed's house for wine and cheese with family...
Hence I am wearing a hat even at night because at that point my hair just didn't work if I took it off! :)

It was actually a quite comfy outfit with the leather leggings and a cotton top. I had tartan slipper style flats all day and switched to these gorgeous sandals for the night which really make the outfit...
