Let's Make Waves!

 Yesterday's casual outfit.

The inspiration was from the April 2012 issue of People Style Watch magazine:

I realized actually I do not have a casual black maxi skirt. The skirt i have is a banana republic and more of a winter dry clean material. I decided to do the photo shoot with these chiffon flared pants but in reality I had to swap the mini full skirt (see way below)...

Here is the converted outfit (we were going to the waterpark so I also had to change the flatforms for flip flops):

Scarf - Forever 21
Top - Banana Republic
Chiffon Pants - Asos
Flatforms - Vera Wang for Kohl's
Purse - Chloe

MONDAY:
My friend and I met up in the morning at Legoland to do their water-park instead of hosting a pool playdate at our house. IT was so much nicer than the last trip as this was a weekday and most tourists that visit legoland come for the main park and not the waterpark area. We were very laid back allowing the kids to set the agenda as to where we went and had a ver nice time.
The lazy river was fun trying to hold on to 4 kids just the two of us but we managed.
The time just escaped from us without a watch and we didn't leave the park until 4 PM!
Then I dropped off the kids at my mom's and picked up my cousin and we came home so I could shower and change we met up with my best friend and had sushi in Pacific Beach and walked around.

Below is the lazy river adventure where we had to hold on so the photographer can get us all together...

  3. At first I thought you were wearing the exact same black maxi dress that I own :)
I love both looks on you: palazzo pants and the skirt both. Can't go wrong with neither.
