Boho Chic

Totally behind at this point. I had a great outfit on Monday but never had a chance to take photos and thought I would take them at my work party but of course there was never a time.
This was my outfit yesterday (Tuesday)... The inspiration was from last fall's 'westfield' magazine...which was given to us at one of the Westfield malls during Fashion week....

Mixing my fur collar knit vest, the new lucky hat and my eggplant kika skirt... :)

This whole trend of rings on every finger is coming back. It was a trend when I was back in high school so I have a whole box of pure silver rings from Turkey from that era....

Hat - Lucky
Vest - LOFT
Lace top , Necklace, tights - Forever 21
Skirt - kika Paprika ('Brit' in eggplant)
Boots - Steve Madden
Purse - Target

TUESDAY:
Went to a museum somehow we have never been called 'Museum of Man' with our outdoor class.
It was a bone chilling cold day I keep thinking the weather changed for good and do not check the forecast and get caught wearing either too heavy or too light.
Anyway once we were indoors it was fine. My daughter really gets along with two girls that are twin sisters. So naturally we hung out together and when we left the museum and faced the bitter cold again we pleasantly ran into this outdoor cafe with heating lamps a warm lunch menu and a serene fenced in lawn for kids to run around while we sipped hot tea. It was like a mini vacation. :) Which I needed since my day was followed with costco shopping and then hosting a work party at my house.

In Egyptian Dress Up clothes

In the play area to mimic a market place where they barter goods.... Kids are sailing on the wooden boat...

Then there was a whole section for kids to experience having disabilities like prosthetic arms or legs or hands and being blind or in a wheel chair....

And at night at my work party with my friend who hosted it:
