End of the night it's going down

Saturday NIGHT outfit was inspired by this Michael Kors Ad in December 2013 issue of In Style:
So I took the concept of metallic jeans, sequined tank and fur vest but changed it from silver/black white color scheme to bronze, gold brown palette!

The colors worked nicely together right? It was a bit odd feeling cause my arms were cold and yet I was warm… But enough alcohol you don't feel anything! :)

Vest - Kenar
Top - H&M
Pants - Forever 21
Purse - Ralph Lauren
Boots - Steve Madden
Necklace, bracelets - Cookie Lee

SATURDAY NIGHT:
If you read my previous post you saw what a loooong and tiring day I had on Saturday. I could have easily curled up under covers with a cup of tea and veg in front of the TV but we had this amazing night planned and I would never flake. So I tried to rally up with a warm shower and a face mask to revive myself and got dressed and even managed to pick up the house and empty the bags and coolers we brought from the soccer field.
My girlfriend picked me up. She is a mother of 3 and had an even crazier than I and was still going to pick up her oldest daughter from an evening birthday party after returning from our event!
But, that is just what we have to do. If we still want to go out and have fun we just suck it up and organize and plan like crazy to make it happen.
We picked up our other two girlfriends and drove downtown to meet another 3 girls there!
It was the first time I combined my 'girls' group with my very close 'mommy girlfriend' group. But they all meshed great and I think everything had a good time.
The even was called "GASLAMP RODEO"… Gaslamp is the name of the downtown region of San Diego. The event included 5 bars with country ambiance with fun events and drinks. Our tickets got a free ticket at each bar but we found it was the same 'moonshine' cocktail! Might explain the quick buzz we all reached as moonshine is quite strong.
There was dancing, corn hole games, lots of laughing and photo taking…

  1. Gorgeous outfit. I'm a big fan of silver but I love how you used bronze and gold brown colours to make it your own, very well done.

I love each component of this outfit and the finished look is something I'd definitely choose to wear myself.

  2. You look smashing in this outfit. So fun. I could never pull it off, so I'll have to live vicariously through you. :-)

I'm glad your two groups of friends meshed. I've tried to mix people like that. Sometimes it works, sometimes not. These all look like nice women.
