 Last night's outfit for my son's school fundraiser Gala…..The theme 'Imagine'….

You probably remember this dress I wore before for my mom's 60th b-day party… This time I added the Juicy booties to make it a bit more edgy. Paired with a bronze metallic jacket when it got chilly and a knuckle clutch and statement earrings….

The dress is just so gorgeous you don't need to add much. The white motif is in velvet so it has a 3D effect. I love this dress…. Best buy ever on a clearance rack obviously recently returned exactly my size for $50 (for a $250 dress)….

FRIDAY NIGHT:

Went to the school Gala with my son's classmate's mom. It was very close by right on the coast overlooking a gorgeous beach and pier right at sunset. Just beautiful. Live band, delicious dinner, open bar and great silent auction items and live auction of class art projects some of which went for thousands of dollars. It was great to chat with some of the parents from this year and last year and I can see in a few years we'll know so many more people. 

I didn't take my SLR with me (as that would have cramped my style) and we just did one professional photo which we'll get later so no other photos to post. :(

 Last night's outfit for my dear mom's 60th birthday party at our house....

This dress was an amazing spur of the moment find at Anthropologie. On clearance from $200+ down to $50 one on the rack and happened to be my size. It must have been a return cause it was amazing to be still there. I bought it the night I was out with the girls for a birthday dinner a few months ago. It is just the prettiest dress ever.... The flowers are velvet and have 3D effect. so much tulle under the skirt which makes it all puffy. Totally me....

LAST NIGHT:
After a day of rushing to pre-school than to couple stores we came home and I even managed to fit in my insanity workout out before showering and picking up my son. Than had to bath both kids and get them ready then get myself ready. Enforcements which were family and my best friend arrived early to help with food set-up. We were done early and even ate dinner ourselves before the guests started showing up.
My mom looked gorgeous on her exact 60th birthday! Surrounded by friends and family she was a happy camper.

TODAY:
Uneventful day of going to pre-school, picking up son and going to hip hop class and doing errands like grocery shopping and cooking in between.
I am in talks with an organization from USC doing a documentary and they are interested in my blog. Could be my first interview. We shall see. Of course it had to be during the time I will be out of town the next two weekends so lets see how it will all work out....
